Ok ALPA WTF

I try to log onto ALPA site and guess what BAD STANDING! I'm guessing it's over $ 7 dollars and change. This is the second time. I'm still missing my first two checks. One check gets lost ok but two checks something smells!

Now here is what pisses me off. As I look at My ALPA their are options

You are currently in GOOD standing.
You are currently in GOOD standing with a balance.
You are currently in BAD standing.

Why not GOOD standing with a balance.

I was in Bad Standing with ALPA for about 6 months over $1.25.

I thought I had insurance check-off and it turned out I didn't.

ALPA expelled me and it feels great! 1 month AFTER I got expelled....they sent me my 15 year pin....ALPA makes the Obama administration look competent....

ALPA is so incompetent. They sent me a 15 year pin a full month after they expelled me. 2 months after they expelled me, they still send me the magazine. They now owe me money because they have still been charging me full dues, rather than just the contract maintence fee....

ALPA can't get anything right these days....much like your beloved Obama administration...

I wonder why ALPA hasn't tried to fire anyone yet over this....They could under the Agency Shop language that I helped negotiate.

By the way PCL_128...The guy who started this thread is an ALPA volunteer and one of the nicest guys you've ever met....He isn't an anti-ALPA loudmouth like me. He paid his assessment and they "lost" his check and put him on bad standing. Not just once...but twice...Great customer service...You and the rest of the ALPA cheerleaders would give management hell for acting this incompetent.

At one point, you cared about ALPA, I think you were even elected as an officer in the association, and seemed to have been motivated. Now, you are one of the most vitriolic haters of ALPA around. Was it one thing, a series of things, what? Did ALPA change? Did you change? What happened?

Its not like they're reporting you to the credit bureau... The membership means nothing unless you sexually harass someone and need ALPA protection or if you file and insurance claim on short, long or life insurance.
