Any idea on flight attendant hiring? Not able on the website, just wondering if anyone has any info?! Thanks;)

As far as I know, NetJets has not been hiring FAs for a long time. I understand the attrition rate is almost nil. Good luck.

Do owners have any pull in the hiring process? I have a family member who is a X owner and am wondering if it would do any good to have them push my stuff up front.

I talked to an owner the other day who said their son had just started at NJ. It probably wouldn't hurt to have an owner on your side. Good luck!

its been five and a half weeks since my phone interview (august 25th). nothing yet....... Did anybody else in mid to late august get the word yet?! Trying to wait patiently......i originally sent in my application in August 2007, yes.....2007....so it has been a year and two months for me so far. still praying!

Nothing here since the e-mail response I got back after I inquired. July 2nd for me.

They are hiring 4 in this cycle (they've brought 30 to CMH for panels)...and a "suggested" 4 in Jan when the next EZ/LX comes. However, if the LOA for FA's goes through then all Gulfstream hiring for FA's will be via NJA. With the new G6's coming on line, then there will be approx 20 new FA's a year for the foreseeable time. Look for a SMALL class of DA2000 FAs and then more hiring for the G4/5/6...if the LOA is successful, then some DA2000 FA's may go to the G fleet and thereby open both G and Falcon FA slots. So...who knows?

Owner services seems to have a lot of pull in the interviews lately, so I would say a letter from an owner would be very helpful.
Rumor has it that there are over 1000 resumes on file with internal letters of recommendation from pilots. I have to guess that the number of resumes with letters from owners is MUCH lower. Anything that you can do to make yours stand out is a benefit.
Best of luck.

I think a letter would be a great idea, but I would also try and take it a step further. If the owner you know is willing of course, have them contact Netjets directly and talk to someone. Maybe their owner rep can help them with who to talk to.

Letters can be misplace 10 times as easily as a phone call.

Was the phone interview still following the previous customer service/HR profile that has been posted? Since you received a call from the head of training I was curious if there were any technical questions?

Thanks!
There were no technical questions only Tell me about a time..I was told that they know everyone reads this board and knows that they are a customer service industry and can tell when people are making up a story about their experience. Hope it helps
