I did my interview in Aug with the Head of training...

Was the phone interview still following the previous customer service/HR profile that has been posted? Since you received a call from the head of training I was curious if there were any technical questions?

Thanks!

The interview class was cancelled? Never heard of an interview class. We have enough hired to fill remaining slots for 2008. This is not a recent revelation. We have a huge stack of more than qualified candidates.

Did anyone consider we may just draw from the pool that already exists before we bring more folks to CMH anyway?
The web site says they're not even accepting FA applications, yet there are people going to CMH for panels. The pool is big...

good luck to you all, i am a "poolie" who was told i won't be in class till '09...

seems the waves come and go...hopefully the waves will start rolling again soon.

Its just frustrating to us airline guys that NetJet sends out rejection emails before you even interview. I've talked to a few of my colleagues who have gotten the same email, 1 even had 6 NetJet pilot LORs.
Again, it's how the resume/cover letter is written. The "rejection email" is generated by the "key word" scanner. NJ has programmed a computer to pick out certain words...and most pilots are so used to giving ratings and times that the "filter" kicks it back b/c it doesn't see the CS words. Invest in a good resume writer...it could be the difference between getting a "shot" and getting the shaft.

What is your source? How did you find out this info about the "key word scanner."

Not trying to be an ass, but I have never heard of a "key word scanner."

Keyword scanners have been in use since the mid 90s by several large corporations. Now does NJA use it? I have no idea. They certainly receive enough apps to justify it but who knows????

I had a july 2nd phone interview. It took between 6-7 weeks to get a phone call from them. They called and offered me a interview in CMH the end of Aug. After this interview I got a phone call from them around the 18th of sep. She told me that they were still very interested in me, but were done hiring/interviewing for 2008. She said someone would call me every month and give me an update. She stated if i was offered a position it would be early 09.

Frachonkey

When did you apply to NJA and can you give us a summary of your background. I'm trying to give my buddies that I gave LOR's for an idea what is going on with hiring.

Thanks
