OK, everyone who wants Luthi gone, who do you want to take over? Who do you think would do better? Do you believe whoever you think will do better will take the job after seeing what happens if you lose the popularity contest?... Either way, I'd prefer Luthi leading the way with a bit more friendliness, but leading the way nonetheless. We shall see how things go, whether or not the recall is accomplished. I sure hope the union can come back together after this nuclear option has run the course.

They don't have a F'n clue. I know because I've asked half of the Rogue 4 and whole bunch of roguers on the road, to include two of the most vocal (who are personal friends) on our message board.

That is the first thing I ask. Who do you have in mind after y'all torch the place? That's the point where the hemming and hawing starts after the tired battle cry of "Luthi's got to go" has been repeated umpteen times. Somebody will step up...well who? Well...SOMEBODY!

I was under the impression that if they all couldn't decide who to replace Luthi as an interim President, it would then go to an election. (Which it should in my opinion. I definitely think Luthi should resign, however I don't trust a majority of the Eboard. Too many agendas, personal relationships etc..)

Union responsibility is to make sure the company adheres to the CBA. It is not to attempt to run the company, bad mouth the management or picket because they don't feel managment is doing a good job. Because bottom line is WB thinks management is doing a good job, and his opinion is all that really matters in the end.

I'm once again very PROUD of this pilot group. We stood up against this petition drive. The group of 4 union dividers only was able to collect 25% of the pilot groups petitions. Luthi has clearly won this round.

The pilots have spoken and want a solid working unit with this union.

The current leadership the leadership going rogue do not matter. They will be voted in or out depending on what this pilot group wants. We cannot afford to break this union up.

The good news is that the union will stay solid and intact. This is very important with contract negotiations coming very soon.

Thanks to all that said "Hell No" to this idiotic petition drive.

Another show of how delusion anyone is that supports Luthi. The recallers actually turned in 670 petition IN 60 DAYS, and they were required to turn in a minimum 590 in 90, days....extrapolate that out and they were on pace for nearly 1000 of the 2300 active pilots signing a petition. there is no doubt the pilots won't him gone, but he refuses to leave.

You are really reaching with that one. Your logic would make sense if the flow of recall petitions were arriving at the same pace as they were in the first month.

The organizers of the recall claimed to have the required 590 signatures after the first 30 days. However, they waited another 30 days to present them. During that additional 30 day period, they were only able to obtain 80 more signatures.

To me, this indicates momentum generated by their "big splash" in the early days is deteriorating rapidly.

I disagree with your point of view - does that make me delusional?

As a furloughee you know what I am going to say.....

I say carry on with the fi.com conversation!
Bingo. EBoard banished us. Ya'll do have the option of the other NJ pilot forum, but no one seems to participate anymore.

You are correct my friend.

The same logic that last time we had a big vote told the people... extend the vote ... extend the vote over the weekend.

and we saw how great that worked for us..

The rogue peoples want chaos and don't appear to want a successful union pilot group. We need to stick together to stop these peeps from "going rogue"
