And as far as your quote "I worked six hard years to get here", there are many furloughed pilots on this board that have more furlough time than that. I don't rip on pilots just because they are low time as I was also once there, the difference was I knew my place.

...when you calm down from your tizzy, are you going to respond to the specific comments we brought up regarding your points of view on LCCs? There actually are some interesting concepts of macro economics and the free market that are worth discussing. Don't dodge the topic! Your last (rather long-winded) post was quite self-centered, as it dealt with little more than yourself. You jumped up on your soapbox to defend yourself and tell us all how mean spirited we are, but in the end, accomplished nothing. We just want to pin you down and see if you can defend some of the silly things you said. Sure, we're all making fun of you, but it's better than a sharp stick in the eye...all in good fun! Anyway, you brought a lot of this derision on yourself by shooting off such outlandish claims in a forum like this.

I am not going to spend a bunch of time debating economics with you on a forum. just look at the spreadsheets and you can see the numbers. SWA is doing ok with their fuel hedging right now but wait until they really have to pay for fuel. The other LCC's are doing great on paper but horrible in real life. Nice try paying for your airplanes Jet Blue. And look the pilots want a union there because they are treated like poop. We could never agree though. You may know more than me about the secrets of the great SWA, but to me they are still competition to my airline. I still veiw them as roaches, as you do my airline.

Thanks for the entertainment. Thanks for lowering the bar and good luck never getting any higher than SWA. You could be cleaning the cabin soon like Jet Blue. I personally refuse to work for a major airline that treats their pilots like the regionals do. Good luck swimming in the cess pool of the big boys.

I find it to be the ultimate in irony that someone who paid $20,000. for 250 hours in the right seat of a B1900 has the friggin' cojones to get on this board and complain about the LCC's.

You probably can't understand this, but I am going to try to explain it anyway- renting out the right seat of a 1900 makes an entry-level job disappear. You have contributed to the lack of entry level jobs, yet you are on this board complaining about LCC's making "your" dream job disappear. Since you are "halfway through college" perhaps you ought to enroll in a logic class, because it's pretty clear you don;t presently have that skill.

I am glad that you "won't ever work for an LCC" because that just means I won't have to be the one to straighten your stupid ass out.

I guess alot of us major airline pilots don't have the insight and knowledge that you, a 24 yr old PFT Beechcraft F/O, have. In my class at SWA, referred to as a "cesspool" by you, we had pilots from American, United, UAir, and Cathay Pacific. Plus there are around 8000 apps on file at our "cess pool" and lots of those are from your beloved leagacy carrier's pilots. A Captain I just flew with had already made 240K and will probably hit 265K before years end while
"lowering the bar." Call me crazy but I hope I never "get any higher" than SWA.

I can't fathom sharing the skies with the likes of you. I hope FLL ATC keeps your King Air over on the kiddie runway with the Twin Cessna's and out of our way. After this display from you, I will stay extra vigilant while flying in Florida around you and your PFT comrades.

And if you are gonna tell me how I know nothing of SWA, then you need to know you don't know d1ck about GIA. Learn a little about the definintion of PFT and you can apply that term elsewhere. That just proves that not all of you OPINIONS are proper either.
