Learn a little about the definintion of PFT and you can apply that term elsewhere.
You know, I might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer knowing all those definitions and whatnot... but I'm pretty sure that Gulfstream's 250 hrs in the right seat program is the poster child for PFT. Look up PFT in the dictionary, it's gonna say "see Gulfstream International Airlines". Why the hell would any sane person pay $20,000 to ride shotgun in a 1900? It's a job, you should be paid for it, not pay to do it. Ty Webb's post at the top was right on the money...

Hey Russian,

Here's a little advice. Go in front of the mirror and repeat the following words

" I'm Sofa King. We tar did". Do this a few times and I think you will get it.

The truth will set you free.

Yep. For three reasons:

1) You paid $20,000 to sit in the right seat to play airline pilot- and then

2) You got on a message board and very loudly insulted the nearly 10,000 pilots of LCC companies, most of whom probably have spent more time in the forward lav than you have in your whole logbook; and

3) You were stupid enough to make yourself and your adolescent temper tantrums visible to over 3,500 pilots (that's how many of us have viewed this string), many of whom will certainly recall this string when they see the resume of a 24 year-old female pilot from Gulfstream, probably with a Russian last name.

So, yes, I would say that all indicators point to you being an idiot.

Well, considering that you previously wrote this:

We do the closest thing you can do next to spacewalking everyday we go to work.
...I would have to say, YES.

Thank you Ty I agree 100%! She has definitely not just burned but also nuked a bridge so to speak. I will say again my only exposure to GIA has been the PFT ads, the putz GIA F/O who attempted to J/S on my flight without introducing himself up front, and "The Russian." I cannot say that I have a favorable impression of that company or its pilots at this point.

Her Captain is going to smack her so hard...you'll hear it for a mile or more.Sorry...bad pun...my cat must have posted that...(yeah, I know.. but I can't have a dog)

I am not a f-n woman. You would know that if you actually read my posts. This proves that you do not. F-n idiots.

Mach zero,

The simple fact is that what I say here has no association to GIA. If you do associate GIA to my comments then stereotypes must be your thing. And your thing sux dude. Am I supposed to associate your comments with your airline? No that would make me an a$$. Thats why I do my best to stick to the subject and talk about the airlines not the people. You also assume that GIA is PFT and you know nothing about it. F/O program graduates DO NOT buy a job ANYWHERE. They do a great job of earning it though.

Ty Webb,

I never insulted the pilots. Once again you misconstrue the posts that I have made. I talk about the airline itself. I have nothing against the pilots except for the ones that have DIRECTLY insulted me. I am not a female and I do not have a russian last name. Once again you assume too much. Dont worry about the resume, it wont be going to a LCC.

And don't think that what you all say on here doesn't go for you too. The things you say to me and others can affect you also. I am not worried about what you think of my opinions. I am worried about you twisting my words or interpreting my porsts incorrectly, as you seem to have done here.

Juvat,

You keep picking up on the spacewalking thing. I thought it was a good analogy for the difficulty in attaining our positions. Lets see:

Numerous years of education,
Numerous years of flight training,
Paying your dues for years at a regional,

ok then you could say....we do 500 mph everyday and if we mess up one thing the pilots and pax become a smoking hole in the earth. How can you say I am an idiot for saying that we have a difficult road and a lot of responsibilities at our jobs?

Once you have done one of these, come back and share with us.

I can share my opinion of your airlines with you all I want. You guys walk all over this board and talk sh1t about Gulfstream and other regionals. KMA. Get off your high horse canyonblue. It is funny how you guys would have had a lot less to say to me had you not told everyone I work at GIA. The only one who stuck to the subject was Juvat (less the insults). Everyone else just started poking at me personally. Guess you have nothing better to do than look down and point fingers canyonblue.

"Dont worry about the resume, it wont be going to a LCC."

Don't worry about sending it, with your attitude, you will not be hired anywhere.

"we do 500 mph everyday"

That is one fast turboprop.

"He said &*^*^$$% (name of low fare trash-ways). Go figure. Thats why I have no money a$$hole."

And you wonder why you are getting piled on, you must be dumber than I thought. Mind you, this was before we learned about GIA!

So please: GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!

I think we have pretty much established that you are definitely a 24 year-old woman, with a Russian last name, unless you found someone to tolerate you long enough to marry you, which seems highly unlikely. Denying that just makes you even less credible.

You have brought the scorn and wrath of this board on your own shoulders, mostly through your wrong-headed comments. Obviously, you have a lot of growing up to do. Please do it somewhere else.

Regards,

TW

Go eat one Ty. Sorry about your scorn and wrath and all that crap. Maybe you should see a doctor to fix those living wounds. So denying that you guys don't know who I am makes me stupid. Continue to eat foot loser.

Peace out my wanna-be major airline stuck up homies!

OakRBust,

Reminder that I did not start the personal attacks. Few have stuck to the discussion or have bothered to read my posts and/or understand them.

I think the Russian is really a senior Captain at legacy carrier and he's just F#$%N with us. If not, I would have to quote Robin Williams from "Good Morning Vietanam"

"You are in more dire need of a bl#$ job than any white man in America"

Relax sparky! It looks like I will be out on the street soon. My LCC couldn't pull out of its nose dive. I guess that will make you happy. If Continental is hiring I will apply, but it looks like one of the three LCC's you have singled out may have a job for me. If I'm lucky I may be pulling gear for TYWebb. I think it is a shame that some of the people that I have flown with came from other legacy carriers that didn't make it and they will be out there too. Some are now close enough to 60 that they have said they will just "hang it up".

Mostly, I am really curious to know if you did the "PFT 250 hr. $20K " at Gulfstream. If so, how do you justify "the lowering of the bar" theory, when you yourself occupied a seat that someone should have been paid to occupy.

I have to admit the "spacewalking" comment had me laughing. Kind of a slap in the face for the guys over at Nasa though. I am sure they or the SR71 or U2 guys loved getting associated with a 1900 FO. How is cruising up and down Florida at 17000 close to space walking? A successful Everest accent, I may give you that one. Now for that we do "500 mph" comment. I have flown in Fl and flown some in a 1900. I have never seen 500mph or 400mph. Maybe a low 300 with a real good push.

The Russian Bear or was it the Backfire was a fast a$$ prop. Not the 1900.

Someone give her the link to the 99's so she will leave.
