I heard the funniest thing on Guard today (Chicago)

One of the funniest stuck mic encounters I heard was when someone "stuck" the "mic" to their butt and farted on a Denver Center frequency!

I think the stuck mike gods have their magnifying glass on me... these are a few of the incidents I remember in my short time CFI-ing.

- Giving an ENTIRE lesson on tower frequency... a whole hour's worth, during a busy time. Did I mention it was my first lesson as a CFI?

- Spending a good couple of minutes thoroughly cussing out the intercom trying to get it to work... which it wasn't because we were transmitting

- My student calling a controller an *********************************** with a stuck mike. Fortunately not our home field.

I was enroute to YIP today from RFD and I was on 126.125 I think. A pilot started to give a PA announcement on guard. This guy was yapping for like 5 minutes, I know he was going to get an ear-full once he was finished..

So when he was done, and when the 15 plus pilots made their comments to this guy..

You hear "Thank you mister discount airline pilot"
But the voice was a recording... It was this funny commercial voice that I hear on TV.....

Was it an Air Tran guy talking about the turbulence, and the plane swap for the thru flight to LAS? It was the longest PA I think I have ever heard. If so I heard the whole thing, and the ensuing 15 minutes of comments. We laughed all the way to landing!

LMAO, I was flying with the owner, and this was the happiest that I have ever seen him..

I instructed chinese students in the Phoenix area. 'One' student who had a poor command of english was on the radio one day. 'Phoenix Approach' came over the radio as 'Penis Approach'. 'Falcon tower' became... Fukin Tower. The tower guys couldn't hold it together on that one. Uh (laughter in the background).... say again?
