I was enroute to YIP today from RFD and I was on 126.125 I think. A pilot started to give a PA announcement on guard. This guy was yapping for like 5 minutes, I know he was going to get an ear-full once he was finished..

So when he was done, and when the 15 plus pilots made their comments to this guy..

You hear "Thank you mister discount airline pilot"
But the voice was a recording... It was this funny commercial voice that I hear on TV.....

LMFAO

If you where in the Kalitta FA-20 i saw you take off....Was gonna go bug you about a few questions but i was pretty busy.

Moving along...

Anyone else care to share some good stuck mic stories?

..and we've heard about the old lady and the beer - so don't go there! :)

Don't know how funny this is, but a friend of mine (when he was a student pilot) trying to make one of his first radio calls say something like this:

"Salina tower this is.....SH!T!"

about 2 years ago, it was a nice saturday morning, we get a c210 inbound, clear him to land, he gets a stuck mike and while on final he starts talking to his passenger. "id like to thank god for such a beautiful day to fly blah blah blah" Im working ground and when the c210 is clearing the local controller says "Cessna XXX, turn right on Bravo, contact ground.niner, and by the way, god says your welcome."

Yeah I was flying into DOV from the south a couple months back and some JetBlue guy came on with his little shhpeeal about their flight from JFK to Orlando and went on and on about the weather and what they were gonna fly over and then finally he was done and everyone started ripping on the guy. Guys were asking what the meal was, what movie was playing on board and stuff like that but then the worst one was some guy came on and said "Man you guys get paid all that money to fly that thing, you think you would know how to work the audio panel." After that, what sounded like a controller monitoring said, "ouch you guys sure are harsh on each other give him a break." One of the better ones I have heard and I am sure there are more to come down the road.

Of course it doesn't beat that one on Dover ground....we'll just keep that one to ourselves though, lol.
