Wow, charlie2 has some hate for old Duggie Boy, the guy that got him off the street after all those years....Thanks for your bio also, you forgot your GPA and scouting ranks...you think you deserve something in life, entitlement..the East pilots downfall...

Hey Carl buddy! I don't hate him I just don't like him. Please tell us why you love him so much remember the current contract that you are working under was negoriated by your beloved ALPA and the ex-con. Ya ya ya I know we have lower rates than you AWA people but we have some protections that you don't have and are so willing to give away to your beloved. I was a Tenderfoot and my GPA was ginda low. I've asked some very specific questions to you and your good friend Becket but you don't respond...why? I'll ask again. Why do you think that a contract with no scope, no min fleet and no min utilization rates is a good thing?

Oh please. ALPA chose the game we have.... Every pilot group for themselves. It's been that way for years and it won't change. ALPA has members getting paid less than $15k and over $250k performing the same skill.
Did you use this line of reasoning when you were intimidating your fellow east pilots in corners of the crew rooms and in the back of hotel vans while ginning up the votes for USAPA? Did you tell them they would have to wait 7 yrs under the same pay they have now just to try and regain some perceived "respect" from the west pilots since the airline wasn't having any of your bluster, and that they would likely gain no more than 18 months quicker upgrade by spending multi millions fighting the Nic? Did you tell them that in the process of doing that you would weaken the union to the point that they would just be hapless spectators during the next merger while relying on the kindness of strangers.

Look back on your life and ask yourself if you've ever taken responsibility for your own actions.

What part of $15K to $250K for the same skill don't you get? ALPA chose to set the game. Every pilot group for themselves, and to he!! with the bottom 49% of any list. It's mob rule. It is what it is. Ya win some ya lose some.

A USAPA SKABB lamenting "mob rule" is a joke right?

Actually, if you factor in retirement and hourly pay, an FO at HA fairly quickly makes more than a USAir Capt. Thank you ALPA.

I completely forgot about that 15-19% off my GROSS pay that's deposited into my 401k... I think charlie2 who's obviously new to the airline industry (maybe from the military) doesn't understand how the industry contracts are negotiated and what the significance of a huge segment of that industry earning 40% or lower wages does to the rest of us.

Hey HA25! With the nic I get stapled and furloughed. Help me with the math here what is 19% of my furlough pay of $0 a month equal? Wow I'll have so much retirement money thanks to your AWA CEO!! Thank you! You'll get your nic in 4 to 5 years...happy new year!

Sad part is you'll believe anything your union tells you! They've made a career of lying, and look how it's paid off for them
Enjoy those pathetic pay scales, it's only you that's suffering. But hey, you got those other 3 jobs to keep you going!;)

furloughed with over 1300 retirements in the next 5 years? and American is looking at 2000 more? Really? Combined with American and adding planned growth, you're looking at 4000 pilot jobs in the next 5 years, they're not going turlough anyone.... don't be gullible.

Happy New Year to you as well!

You are right about the future but I was talking about the last five years or so. If the nic was used back then I would have been furloughed another three to four years and furlough pay is $0 so my low pay right now is better then $0. Because I have a huge mortgage (a really nice house) and other expenses I need all five (not 3) of my income streams. My low US Airways income helps and I'm in no position to influence anyone in the union about changing the situation.

You were furloughed. Now you want to take from the west and AA. You should probably tend to your other 4 jobs. For your sake I hope someone more competent than usapa is making decisions for you in your supplemental income regime . Usapa has failed you.

Nope don't want to take anything from them. Would never want to live in PHX so they can have their 757's.

What you say and what you support are two different things. Usapa has failed you and only continues to lead you by the nose.

I don't live in PHX and I don't plan to move to PHL or CLT like you fear. Yet your fear has consumed you and the other "followers" of Usapa. Wake up Chuck Deuce. You will never get back what you've lost under the dictAtorship that you worship. The world is passing you by.

They're not really "jobs" and it is really 6 other income streams one being a military pension. Serving in the military was something you could have done so don't hold it against me. The other income streams I have are commercial properties which once again is an option for everyone on this board so don't hold it against me. When I go to work I meet the other pilot who has a smile on his or her face and we go on a trip that if there is enough time we meet in the bar for a beer and trade notes on ouy real life, not the one that some greedy management group thinks we should have. I'm senior enough to commute in Tuesday morning and home Thursday night which gives me plenty of time to "tend" to my other endeavors. Sure I wish I made more an hour but I will not trade it for a contract that doesn't include the protections that I have talked about numerous times on this board but nobody seems to want to discuss.

Wow. A former Marine who must resort to calling the CEO of his company childish names because his own argument is weak. I'm sure Doug Parker is really hurt by your immaturity. You're really showing him!

I am no fan of Doug Parker, however, he is the one driving the ship and has the occasional nuisance of Usapa biting as his heels. His heels Chuck.

charlie2 throwing the hate around today...senior to work weekdays, flying the heavy E-190??? USAPA has put you so far into a corner, you can not think straight when a contract comes your way...the 7 year stall in not putting the NIC in play will cost the Easties soon...Do not go off the deep end and wow us with your great economic situation, are you the same D-bag with thoses rental on the NJ s from the ALPA boards? I would rather let my seven year old be on the NAC them some AFO, he would be like on those cute AT&T commercials about two lasers are better than one, economics over emotions, the Easties downfalll....Happy New Year!!!!

Childish names? How about the truth. If you or I get a DUI we are in big trouble and our job could be on the line. You have to admit that he has millions and millions of dollars and could afford a very nice limo but yet he didn't have the judgement to call a cab or a limo? When my brother and I decided to drink last St. Paddys day we took a cab, it's called good judgement which is something I would expect of a CEO of an airline.

Hi Carl!! It's not "hate" it's genuine disrespect for the man. No I don't live in NJ! Nice try though. Why wont you talk to me about what I have asked in numerous posts?

Chuck2's childish name calling makes his claims of Marine service very suspect. Would he say that to Parker's face? Do real Marines hide behind keyboards?

Explain to me how you would have been furloughed three or four years but I was hired in late 2007 after the merger and only furloughed 21 months.

I've seen absolutely NOTHING pertaining to USAPA in this thread title. Is it not possible to take this garbage to one of the other 100 threads that have taken this turn?

Moderators- no wonder people are bailing out of this forum for other's- those that come here for resources (and contribute meaningful information) are having to sift through more and more trash to accomplish this. Your once great forum has taken the path toward a bad Jerry Springer format. Any plans to fix this type of garbage?????

I'm not sure about that. He supports Usapa and blames everyone for his groups failures.

There are 29 sections to our contract and the seniority list is one section, section 22 I believe. You are saying that it is USAPA's fault that management wont talk about the other 28 sections? We all know that section 22 is being contested and will eventually be decided in a court room but why can't we have a few other sections negotiated. If management doesn't even show up how exactly do you suugest we negotiate?

I can't believe you don't understand it but here goes. If the nic was implemented immediately I would have not been recalled from furlough in 2006 and would have stayed furloughed for another few years. You would not have been hired at all. Parker closed down the money losing base at LAS not long after the merger and a lot of flying at PHL and CLT was being done by west "metal". Yes by now I would have been finally recalled and be a bottom reserve in the 190. I'm glad you have a good attitude at being furloughed for "only 21 months". You must be like me and have other income.

Name calling? I hope you're not implying that your CEO did not spend some jail time for endangering peoples lives by driving drunk are you? It's public information I can post a link if don't know how to do a google search. He really is an ex-con, it's not "name calling" and I hate the fact that a man with bad judgement is the CEO for the lousy company that I work for.

You cannot be serious Chuck! How far down/up the hole have you been hiding? Usapa is its own worst enemy, inept to boot! Ask the other Usapa cult members to show you what your beloved master is trying to get from the company. All the while knowing that they are asking for the impossible. Delay is Usapas only goal to fill the greed vacuum to make you whole at the expense of the west.

Usapa is afraid to let the east pilots vote. Usapa isn't interested in what the east pilots want. Usapa only cares about those who line up and carry their water whilst they benefit at the memberships expense. You, are a prime example. You're being screwed by Usapa and think its a good thing.
