The TRUTH is that for nearly a decade any sensible half wit could look over the books at Flight Options and see that a LARGE majority of writeups occur in common locations, and many happen to occur at mx base airports, although we all KNOW airplanes don't behave like that in the real world.

I totally agree with you here.

As much as you like to insinuate and even declare that pilots have "agendas" related to where and when the report discrepancies, you are EQUALLY silent about the other half of the equation, aren't you Skanza? You are advocating your agenda just as surely as you are decrying the other. Hypocrite idiot. (this post intentionally written in the color of choice of the village idiot!)

To clarify, I do not advocate either carrying write-ups to a convenient MX base or writing things up prior to passenger legs. That's my position, and you can't change it. Never have I suggested carry dicrepancies, I'm just focused on the other half because that is the slow-down tactic. There, I addressed it.

Bottom line: Write it up where and when you find it. In the US, out of the US, empty leg, live leg, preflight, postflight, day or night. When you find it is when you find it, and that is when you are REQUIRED to report it.

And, I agree with you here, too.
.....

I never said we write a discrepency when a pax leg or it is an inconvienent place.. I will admit when I get off the phone with you guys and hear the frustration in your voice I do laugh my a$$ off on how you waste time on the phone by pausing and thinking--should I ask him to fly it? Or will he ASAP my name for pushing and end up in the mail room like the other stooge? Fact is mgt stooge-it breaks where it breaks.
The days of pilot favors are long gone and they will never return even if you paid me double a NJA contract. That bed was made by flops mgt a long time ago and now you get to sleep in it FOREVER! Why because thats the LEGAL and MORAL right way to do business. So it looks like you should get up from the OCC chair you are reading this in and go tell Mike to pack up his sh!t because he can't HANDLE THE TRUTH.
Mgt has created a group of pilots filled with rage against the unethical treatment of its front line employees. We are here till the bitter end-so learn to deal with it.
Now I KNOW that answered your question.

No, still not answered. I didn't claim that you said what's highlighted in red above, but this guy did:

Cheers man. And seriously, "Don't do anything illegal for or against the company." Follow that mantra and you will be just fine.

Come on, that line still? You don't need a union to tell you that. It's like saying you need religion to tell you to be a good, moral person. Both can be accomplished without the organizations mentioned.

Q: Why do fudspinners reek?

A: Because they're full of ...

Fischman made the motion; Gunfyter gave us the second and the majority of posters agree. With all the fudspinner's BS on the board maybe I need to switch to my black cowboy boots...:p

Ok, in reference to this and subsquent post: Don't you have anything of your own to say? Instead of massaging these guys? And I didn't think you had a dog in this fight anyways...

Funny. I just re-read that post and don't see anything about any organization.

I was just trying to help. You might want to try it every now and then instead of flame baiting.

b19,

A professional never rushes. Never lets the schedules of others affect their tempo. I guess you will never understand as you are not a professional pilot, just some paid hack.

Keep them coming.

You know at some point F&H will see what a chity job you are doing and have you replaced by some punk in India. You better get that resume in order. Maybe Hoffa will hire ya! He has a real eye for the future!

Once again, you make the assumption that a pilot is the one that makes the mistake. Plenty of accidents have happened because others have made mistakes because THEY were rushing.

Everybody in aviation are professionals, and part of being professional is running an on time flight. I wouldn't expect a pilot conducting a union slowdown to ever rush.

I can envision everybody else rushing in an attempt to make up for the union-mongering pilot that thinks he's adding to his cause by writing up a deficiency using "union standards" vs. "industry standards." in a specific attempt to disrupt the operation to prove a point.

During those periods that others are rushing are when the mistakes are made.

Pilots are the last link in a chain of events. In a military drone, the pilot isn't needed. But, mechanics, fuel and planning are still required.

THE most important part of being a professional in aviation is ASSURING SAFETY FIRST. If the professionals on the support team start "rushing" in an attemp to make an on-time departure, this increases the liklihood that errors are going to be induced into the system that could very well compromise safety of flight. It now becomes IMPERATIVE that the pilots slow down, check, verify, and ASSURE the flight is not only safe -but also legal - to depart. Being on time is indeed a goal, but not the primary goal. I'd place it at least third down my list of priorties.

I just have to say that after reading the first 8 pages of this thread I went and educated myself on that IGNORE feature and realized that reading ******************** on FI might have just gotten a lot more bearable. Don't get me wrong, the whole reason I come here is for a nice exchange of different views, but damn some of you are ********************ing one song jackasses!

Skanza, last time you challenged me to defend my position I submitted a long post full of factual information that had nothing to do with the others NJ folks posting here. Perhaps to answer your own question you should go reread it. Just because I joke around with friends doesn't mean I can't speak for myself. ... Actually, I have a solid reputation among the pilots for being well-informed and voicing my opinion of events in the frac industry. You don't think I have a dog in this fight... Not so. My family's income is tied to a frac company and it is in our interest to see the bar raised across the industry. The same applies to every frac family. CS families are a good example of how that works.

The FltOps pilots deserve support for trying to improve conditions in the industry. They have expressed appreciation for my posts. If you don't want to read them I suggest you follow BF's advice and make use of the ignore function.

More opinion: Low morale leads to lower productivity. It is not a coincidence that NJA and CS aren't having pacing problems in their operations. If the FLOPS upper managers were smart they'd follow the example of NJ and CS and pay their pilots like the professionals they are. Respected, motivated pilots are quite willing to go the extra mile and work as a team with management. Overworked/underpaid pilots get fed up and leave. Time for the FLOPS to offer the pilots a fair contract. It's ridiculous and wrong of them to expect to get a Ritz attitude when they pay Motel 6 wages.

I wouldn't be surprised if B19's medical ineligibility is psychological. B19, just keep refilling the staplers and leave the profession to the professionals.

You have a right to voice your opinion.

But you have NO IMPACT on the aviation industry, fractional or otherwise.

You are nothing but a pilot's wife, and anything you say has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Your continued disrespect to the non-pilot professionals that are relied upon everyday to ensure the safety and integrity of the industry is astounding.

Even in this post, you say you have a reputation amongst the pilots. That's because you haven't a clue as to what happens behind the scenes with non-pilot employees which is far more important than what happens during each flight.

Unions put enormous stress on all employees of any company.

The NJASAP you support is disgusting. I find it selfish and typical union rhetoric. Use the IBT for whatever you can and discard it later when it's no longer of use. Is it legal? Yeah, it is. But like everything else about unions, legal doesn't mean ethical or moral.

You are nothing but a pilot's wife.

Pilots are professionals, that is true, but having the courage to step off the flight deck and into the required world of management where bills are paid, budgets are created, policy is made, standards are established, safety programs are created, pilots are trained and schedules are maintained is a lot more challenging than simply flying everyday. Throw a union in that thinks they know more than an experienced manager (like a teenager, the union thinks they know it all), and it takes a lot more courage than you can imagine.

Do it sometime, if you have the courage.

YOUR NOTHING BUT A MORON

b19,
Nothing but a pilots wife huh? You sound like a sexist pig. Maybe you are just not comfortable with women having an opinion. Would you be happy if NJW put on a berka? Maybe she should take off the boots and get back in the kitchen!

Moving along, all those things in your list that you say takes courage to come off the flight deck to do. You know all the management meetings, training, safety, scheduling etc etc, well I hate to inform you, the NJA pilots have been doing that (in their spare time I will add) for years. It is recognized by everyone here that without these pilots stepping up, NJA would years behind where we are today. You see, the pilots here at NJA bring a lot of talent with them. Way to much to list here even if I wanted to. And a lot more experience than many "experienced" managers.
But that is okay, we can all learn from each other.
But what do us lowly servants, errr I mean pilots know about business?

I was thinking about the absurdity of this and other threads on this website not too long ago and came to an epiphany. This place isn't worth the headache. When one person, B19, dominates so much of the conversation with his circular reasoning and inane rhetoric, it's time to move on. I think he must get a perverse joy out of getting a rise out of so many people. Well, not out of this proud, dues paying NetJets pilot anymore.

The epiphany I came to was that there is no hope in changing his mind or even introducing logic into his arguments. He will always fall back on the same things: "You don't have credibility", "You don't respect non pilot employees", "Unions will destroy you and your company", blah blah blah.

Good luck to the rest of you fighting the good fight. I've personally decided that I can have a more productive conversation with my two year old.

You are nothing but a pilot's wife.
one of your continous comments about NetJetWife

If she is nothing more then a pilots wife, and her post acording to you are garbage, why can't most people see through the garbage and know whats true or not and what is right on their own? I believe they can.

Why are you dedicating so much time to someones post, if they are "Nothing but a Pilot's Wife"?

I believe they can see through garbage here and they see you are the one dishing it out. Are you BB2?

I believe she is doing so much good for our pilot group, at all the fracs, this is why you continue to attack her post!

You nailed it, Sting! Shortly after I began posting here in 2004 I noticed a pattern in the responses from the anti-union sub-set of the board. When I made good points and presented a reality that was beyond the reach of their FUD, they turned ugly and started making personal insults. Their garbage used to upset me until I realized that it was actually a good measuring stick of my effectiveness. I take the time to stay informed and it shows in my posts.

The pilots posting (and reading) here are smart enough to discern the truthful posts from the FUD being flung desperately at them during contract negotiations. They know they have my full support and that I've been here thru the thick and thin. Frac pilots know when they're getting a raw deal and they know that I understand and care. I value the friendship I have found here. I enjoy discussing frac issues and events and I have done my part to help build camaraderie in our online community. I was here before the latest fudspinner showed up and I'll still be here when he has wandered off to harass some other unlucky group that dares to claim their right to work under a contract.

Thanks for the support,
Netjetwife

PILOTS ARE PROFESSIONALS HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR HUMAN LIVES AND EXPENSIVE AIRPLANES. THEY SHOULD BE COMPENSATED ACCORDINGLY. THOSE WHO REFUSE SHOULD GET THE BOOT.

B19 should thank NJW

B19 should thank NJW and all the other wives, significant others and children! If it wasn't for them I am sure someone would have regressed about 50 years and he we be posting via a OUJIA board.

And in his very words and insults, B19 (red for kool aid!) shows what a baseless FUD spewer he is. While he sounds the trumpets to recognize the worth and value of all the "non-pilot" support personnel in flight operations, at the same time he is willing to attempt to debase and insult the "support" personnel at home, with comments like "you are nothing but a pilot's wife."

The rhetoric he forwards is nothing but a typical anti union scheme to try to drive rank and file employees against one another by creating a divide. We all KNOW (from NJ example no less) that our successful negotiation of a contract will be the only thing that will SAVE this damn ship, and thus save the jobs of our valuable support personnel (a category into which our PSMs, PMs, and almost all higher management do NOT fall.)

Hear! Hear! Thanks for supporting all the family members, Cougar. :) A Ouija board, huh? If that's how we posted I think I'd dress like a gypsy for my avatar...:p I'd peer into my crystal ball....and see the Options pilots...getting a contract...NJASAP becoming official...and those who discriminate against family members and/or spread FUD would be getting the boot. :D

Great post, Hobbes...with an "e"....;) how refreshing to read the truth.

Hell yeah Hobbes! Great post. b19 shows no respect for our spouses and families. You know why? I think I figured it all out...just now.

First of all, his dad left when he was young because he realized that his son was an idiot. Second, one of his mom's many boyfriends was a Teamster and beat his ass senseless for being so stupid. When he finally grew into a fine young future Union buster, he went through about 17 wives because he obviously has no respect for women. It is also obvious that his brain was damaged by it but if all that lead paint he ate at a young age didn't also make him sterile, I'm sure any kids he may have hate his guts.

That would explain his hatred toward you netjetwife. He's just a jealous, brain dead, sterile, bitter, Union busting wife hater.

Rock on NJW!

b19, save the planet, and please - exterminate yourself
