Impotence mixed with rage = juvenile behavior. You won't change a thing.
I am by no means trying to justify GJ pilots at all, but let's look (superficially) at why people dislike GJ:redbook said:This whole board and everyone in the industry has the alter ego whipsaw airline g0jet and the scumbags figured out. Keep trying to confuse the issue.

I dont know about pinnacle and mesaba but XJT and CAL are two very different companies. The argument that can be made about AMR is that Eagle and AA fly two very different structures one is intended for larger aircraft(more experienced pilots) while the other one isn't. It wouldn't make any sence for AA to pick up eagle furloughs now does it? But eagle has taken in AA furloughs. Hope that clears something up.
IdRtherBsailing} On a side not AWAC did not furlough anyone.[/quote said:Really? Tell that to all the former AWAC CS and Ramp agents that now work somewhere else because they were FURLOUGHED effective 1 Oct 2005. I don't work for GJ. So before you call me a scab get your facts straight. Also you need to learn the definition of scab, no one is doing struck work. You may not like that GJ is flying but they didn't cross anyones picket line.
God, the formatting is all messed up tonight... Okay, I may have erred with XJT, not quite sure. Pinnacle/Mesaba and NWA remain my primary examples, however... I think it's a fairly valid analogy, but I have no problem admitting if I'm wrong. Thanks for the clarification.punkpilot48 said:I dont know about pinnacle and mesaba but XJT and CAL are two very different companies. 1) Taking airplanes at lower pay rates
2) Undercutting "the cause" by having a second carrier owned by the same parent company fighting the other
3) One company furloughing while the other hires
Now, and again, I'm not defending anyone, will someone explain to me how it's different than what any of the regionals are doing to mainline? Specifically, Mesaba/Pinnacle and NWA, Eagle and AA, Expressjet and COA? My understanding is that these companies all have the same parent company...
Don't want to hear flaming, just curious as to how it's different.
Shrek said:Pot meet the Kettle don't you think ??? You wouldn't have any problem flying GJ's 70 seaters (if they were flown by the TSA seniority list) but you want to preach to us about scope ? .....
H25b......you said this right?.....
Preach to us?! Us as in your lil scumbag airline that is G0 jets.
OR you mistakenly think that they should be classified as professional pilots.....either way you lose.
I am sure you will come back and spin bubba - y'all have rationalized yourselves into a deadend job.
If all of you are soo proud of youselves why don't you show your badges in public or look up from your shoes when you walk.
ALL OF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.....
I have 20 guys you can try to convince that you are right.
h25b said:Those 20 guys should blame their management. The GJ pilots have nothing to do with it.

See? not complicated at all.
