Negative. the 14 civilian pilots you mentioned are just props that you wont see after your hub tour next week. There are no myths on this site - just like all the thousands of 250 hour hired United pilots out there. Those guys really exist.

class sizes and training dates

Looks like the calls for the last class (25 Sep) included interviews through 9-10 Feb. The next two classes in Oct should be enough to get through rest of Feb and almost complete March (based on approx 50/month through Oct). When calls start to go out for the Oct classes, could someone ask what the rough number of poolies is at right now? Thanks, it just gives me something to do while waiting.

Before people go berzerk, I think it's closer to 100/year than 100/month.

I do wonder how many folks will bail after we get a contract(over 60 guys).

Just an additional note. There was an intreview class May 24/25.
4 for the line and 1 corporate. All 4 of us got pool letters and I think the corporate guy got it too. Just thought I'd add that in.

It has gotten far to quiet on this site, had to go to the 5th page to find it.

No news/rumors? No more new interview dates and numbers of poolies to add to the list?

I'll bet after the holiday next week the calls will start going out for the first Oct class. I heard through the grape vine that there will be more FO slots in that class than in the 25 Sep class. Can anyone confirm that?

He was interviewing for a job with FedEx's Corporate Flight Department. Since they have the option of going to the line in 3 years (I think) they do the same interview as the 121 side. So from our group there were 4 added to the pool.

The info for my interview group is incorrect. I and the other 3 poolies interviewed on 13/14 June. None of us have been called out of the pool yet.

I'm a fellow poolie (March 29/30 interview) who's been watching these threads and wanted to pass some info along as well.

1st - Thanks to everyone who has posted and kept the info flowing.
2nd - I know there was a group of 12 on March 19/20 of which 1 went MD-11 leaving 11 unknowns. I didn't see that date on the list.
3rd - I spoke to KD today and here's what she said in a nutshell. Based on the numbers she was given she expects mid April 06 interviews to be called by the end of the year and the pool to be drained by April 07. For me (March 29/30 2006) end of October at the earliest, but probably by mid November.

This is pretty much as I expected based on the info in this thread.

And in case you are wondering, she called to get my updated FE written and medical. I had faxed it to them back in May and she said it just didn't get updated in her system, no big deal.

Things I didn't push though were number of poolies remaining, numbers and sizes of classes, and next drug test. Sorry.

Thanks for all the info....still wonder why they are doing interviews now when there are sufficient poolies to fill classes until next April?? This information given today conflicts with all the other reports of "everyone being in training by Christmas." What has changed?

Looks like the calls are going out for the Oct 2nd class. Congrats to all that get the call in the next few days!!! By the poolie threads gathered here, it appears that this should close out the Feb interviewees and maybe move into the first week of March (big month).

Could you help a brother out? Any information would be appreciated....how many people in the class? makeup of the class (FE/FO)? how many people left in the pool? Thanks again for all the info!:beer:
