Got some advice for you dude. You worry about getting hired at Southwest, when you get more than 1000 hours, and we'll worry about our pay, which is more than most legacy carriers out there!

I care about DAL pay because you guys are in a pretty good position these days. Now is your time to demand your lost wages. Unfortunately, you are obviously too big of a pu$$y to do this. If Delta can afford to grow the way it is, it can afford to pay it's pilots more than a lowly guppy driver in TX.

While your pay is more than most legacies, it's still less than a LCC out of TX flying nothing but guppies.

This is where you total lack of clueless shows....Section six opens up and we will show the company our opener. You don't just go in and demand a raise while working under a PWA, but as an errand boy, I wouldn't expect you to understand.
If the NWA/DAL merger goes through, we stand to gain 20% raises, while the NWA guys will earn 30% raises, not too bad, but again, as a non airline guy I don't expect you to understand, you're just too far disconnected. Stick to your desktop flight sim....

Then take it up with the rest of the legacies, or better yet, take it up with LUV since they're the ones bringing the industry pay down to their level!

Looks like UAL didn't wait around for their section 6 to at least try and get mgt to start negotiations.

When your section 6 does open up, you'll come up with a modest raise (maybe one that even keeps up with inflation) and then you will capitulate (as per the norm) and do whatever Anderson wants.

You are comparing hourly wages, a SWA pilot with a little effort can get paid for 150 trips a month while I doubt a DAL 777 F/O gets more then 85 hours a month. If you look at W2 wages I would bet a 3rd year F/O at SWA makes more than a 12 year DAL 777 F/O.

By the way I think DAL has a better contract than other airlines that went through bankruptcy and has one of the better management teams out there.

A 150 trips is a lot of effort. Working hard can get you 120-130. 150 trips per month on average takes a serious tournament player and you are one the road a lot.

FWIW, 5th year pay FO is 104.26 per trip. If you work 105 trips/month then you are making 130K. That is probably about average.
