Enough of this. I'm calling Art Bell.

Additional notes. The Chinese Maglev now in operations is also joining the airlines and is reportedly releasing chemtrails. More news on this in a couple of days.

I admit!

Last month the feds were in at our flight school and fitted our cessnas with dispensers. I guess they came up with new technology in order to fit non-turbine aircraft. What do I know, I'm just a pilot. They needed more coverage at lower altitudes, so they went around asking at flight schools for help. Being in financial trouble, I couldn't resist the offer.
Anywhoo, when we're out practicing maneuvers and such we are to turn it on for at least 1 hour. Sometimes when the flights are short, we gotta land with them on... Kinda sucks cause now all the grass at the end of the runway is dead along with the poor rabbits that used to live there. High concentration is deadly you know?
Anyways, if you're wondering why all the funny patterns, It's cause many GA airplanes are now fitted with those, and we don't really navigate like the big boys, we just go wherever we want at whatever altitude you know?

We all got a HUGE bennefit package from the feds tho. Here's to my new car!!!

Oh no, not another "spray-for-training" scam... :D

Wow...Iberia is getting pretty brazen about this. What'd'you suppose we're looking at here? SARS? AIDS? Herpes?

I've finally figured out how I will get into the majors!!!

I'll spray for Training by god!!! I'll do it!!

So, uh, where can I sign up?

Ummm...and does it mean I have to take the tin foil off my head?

Certainly not! In fact, I'd put some in my shorts, if I were you. :D

Can jet contrails form at 8C at 12,000ft?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If there's enough moisture in the air, yes. They'll be short-lived, but they'll be there.

Whats wrong with this answer?

It doesn't go along with NASA or NOAA.
It doesn't account for the extremely low temperatures that scientists say you need to form jet contrails.

If....it did happen.....(and thats a big "if") it doesn't help us explain why people all over the country would take an interest in this issue. Would you spend your efforts in time and research for a "short lived" contrail that evaperates in 30 seconds? The answer is no!

I wouldn't

Lets take a look at those photos

www.geocities.com/houstonchemtrails.

a. Chemtrails Grid (taken in Las Vegas which normally has low humidity and high heat): When was that ever normal at your house? Ask you neighbor when they have ever seen that over their homes on a regular basis. Why does it linger and appear to be dispersing instead of evaporating? Why isn't it pencil thin like normal jet appearances when looking up at the sky? When did commerical jetliners form grids over your home? Finally if its just ice crystals, why aren’t they evaporating quickly. Mark Steadman did a study on jet trail activity in Houston. After studying 70 jet contrails, he found that the average duration of a jet contrail was 30 seconds. Wouldn't that seem strange to you if this appeared over your house and lasted for hours? Explain it to me PLEASE!

b. Chem Orb: I got that photo after coming home from church in Houston at 12:00 noon in July. Orbs around the sun usually occur in the far north in the winter in extreme cold because the orb forms as a result of ice crystals in the air. not in Houston, TX - and in the picture is a low altitude (chem)trail.

c. Chem Tail: This photo came from Austin, Texas with 15 percent humidity (not 70 percent or saturated humidity) at 95 degrees at noon. In this climate, this jet contrail would not occur. It’s too hot and dry. I lived in Austin for 6 months as a contractor and never saw this activity. And why is the chemical coming out the tail of the jet? This shot is consistent with many photographers who have shot close-ups of military aircraft spraying. Only they have actual shots of the chemical coming out of nozzles. If you were to go to Austin today and observe the sky, you would shake your head in disbelief because now the trails are lower, bigger, and wider and have an oily appearance. Why shouldn't we bring these observations into question?

d. Chem Lines: That is right above the roof of my apartment. Why are they so distinct in the photo? Why are they so large? Shouldn’t they be pencil thin like the normal appearance of jet contrails at 30K or 40K feet? Why 4 in formation? Commercial jets don't do that? Why over my apartment? When was the last time you got a picture of a jet contrail so close to your roof?

e. ChemX: A friend in Muskegon, Michigan took this one. What is strange about that photo? When was the appearance of jet contrails that big and distinct? Why are the neighbors taking about it? Why the X? This was taken out in the country not next to an airport. In all my years in Muskegon, I can truthfully say that I have never seen that kind of phenomenon in Muskegon. Also, jet contrails should not show up on a photo as if someone took an eraser to the sky. Jet contrails are normally pencil thin. Take a sharpened pencil and write a line on a piece of paper. That’s how a normal jet contrail appears (30K to 40K high) looking at it FROM THE GROUND.

f. Chem Goo:
1. It has the appearance of a chemical falling out in the air.
2. If it was a bonified jet contrail - there’s no way a 20X optical zoom could get that good of a close-up.
3. Although you cant see it here in the photo, you can see it on the video that the trail is not disappearing but dispersing outward as the wind picks it up until the a vast sky area around it looks milky blue. Even the chemical engineers at ConocoPhillips where I work at, after watched this phenomenon during their lunch times have called this observation “a chemical spill in the air”. Why should I question their conclusions? At the very minimum, we should take their conclusions seriously. They are chemical experts. I’m just a network administrator.

No it does not have to be -70, nor do contrails have to be pencil thin. You have obviously read too much of William Thomas, who is using this to sell books.

No more dodging questions.

And again, I will ask.

Where did you arrive at 12,000 ft at, how did you measure it.

How is it that you on the ground know those trails are there, yet pilots never see them at those altitudes.

Did you ever think to ask people that do spend time at those altitdudes if there were trails, instead of reading chemtrails webpages and assuming they they must be true.

My God Denver, please learn and read about meteorology before spouting off the chemmie buzzwords.

Chemgoo? hahahahahahaha WTF is that?

Maybe the average trail duration is 30 seconds. THat does not mean every trail has to. The atmosphere is changing and dynamic.

What if the average temp where you are is 60F. Does that mean everytime it is not 60, that the government is modifying your weather? :)

You dont think there can be freezing temps way above Austin during the summer? Explain.

Its coming from the tail of the jet? Huh?

Denver, I am losing patience with you over this photo. Read this very carefully: this is a picture of a Continental 767 airliner with a contrail forming about fifty feet aft of each engine. Period! It's not some super-secret military aircraft. If it were, it would not be flying in daylight, and it wouldn't be operating anywhere near an ignorant schmuck with a camera!

Answer this question, dammit: if contrails and clouds don't form below twelve thousand feet, then why do we have fog? Why do we need instrument approaches?

You've chosen to misinterpret NASA and NOAA documents in a way that supports your twisted, irrational beliefs. That is not "evidence."

Get help. I mean it: Get help!

Yeah, I agree with Typhoon

Denver I'm no psychologist but I agree with Typhoon. I think you need to take some time off and visit a therapist.

I tried to look at your last link but it doesn't work. I wanted to see for myself what's in those pictures.

But I don't need to.

I read item d. and your concern about the contrails over *your* apartment. You mentioned it twice.

You're obviously distressed about a conspiricy that's being waged above your own roof.

The symbolism itself is dramatic. It's egocentric. It's irrational. You're not open to reason and you don't compromise or concede anything.

If I were you, I'd delete this thread (because I think it's only indulging your fantasy of a conspiricy), tell a friend or coworker that you need some help finding a therapist.

Good luck.

I spilled some Chem Goo on my girlfriend.

Have you ever seen the exhaust out of a car on a cold day?
Tends to actually look like some sort of "smoke" doesn't it?

Same concept....different altitude. Unless you think there is a conspiracy with automobile exhaust too!
