DALPA didn't say that about stopping a merger? Be specific. Yes or No. I know you can do it....unless you're mind is still spinning about the whole "which number is greater than another number" thing.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Who said that they wanted to stop the merger?

Who said that they wanted to stop the merger? I am not privy to the details, but we stopped the merger until it became in our best interest to support it. NWA held their breath until they couldn't hold their breath any more. Since you brought me into it.... I've been keeping silent for awhile, but just read the final transcript, and I expect NWA to settle any day no our ratio list with drastically less allowance for retirements that they sought initially. If they don't, they are fools. RH and RW just solidified Delta's case remarkably.

So basically you're using Delta testimony to prove delta testimony. Dude, that is patently ridiculous... Delta claims NWA only needs 9.5 captains per 747-400, but Delta needs 22.5 per 777?

That number is correct. Delta will be utilizing that aircraft on four man operations, where Delta requires 2 captains and 2 f/os rather than 1 captain and 3 f/os. Throw in a couple of mulitpliers into the mix with regard to vacation and other things and you get 22.5. Did you even READ the testimony?

Unfortunately, this throws a wrench into the NWA testimony and staffing numbers due to the increased captains and decreased f/o requirements. Benefits Delta's arguments on both the senior and junior side of the list.

Yes I read the testimony, and I accept that the 777 needs more captains than the 747 per jet, but I know we can't operate with only 9.5 captains per 747.

How about your side offering a recent flight plan from PDX to ICN (Incheon)? What was that all about? First of all, you don't fly that route. Nope. And, it is over 12 hours on that flight plan, and you don't have a crew rest facility to permit that. Who cooked up that one? You guys accused our VP of Flt Ops of cooking the books (and we then showed how that could not happen via the Email), and then you served us a made up flight plan on a supposed route your A330 does not fly on, and never has. Not nice!!

Bye Bye--General Lee

It went to disprove the crap your guy was sasying about the range of the 330 compared to the 767. NWA dispatch can pull up any aircraft on any route within seconds. We called the SOC, they pulled it up, your guy was shot down, we moved on.

NWARedTail - you are simply nuts. An empty flight to cities you don't serve does not prove, or disprove anything. Obviously NWA dispatch can pull up anything and obviously, they did. The A330 plays in the same box with the 767. If you don't believe me, or the testimony, watch the Air Force and the contractors fight between a IGW tanker version of the 767-200 and a A330.

Your MEC has a very hard time looking at their outbox and finding e-mails about NWA over-staffing and furloughs. Heck, now they can't even remember the e-mail, or having a computer. I'm glad we were able to help.

It was your guy that said the 330 couldn't do the flight, we proved it could. Your spanked attorney dropped the questioning. Nuff said. Yes the 330 is comparable to about 15 of your 767's.

Are you able to stick to the subject. You and Mr. ADD general. BTW, you never gave me your seniority to run the numbers for you.

Yup, and arrived with fumes, and in violation of at least the NWA contract, and possibly the FARs.

I have to say: Good one. Keep them coming.
