If we were acquired by United in 1999, I fully expect that the vast benefit discrepancy that existed at the time and the fact that United at the time was a desirable place to work, would have worked against us in arbitration.

Coming from someone at Corporate who likely doesn't know who Ty really is nor who ever interacts with him (or the rest of us for that matter). FYI, he's generally well-liked, but again, I wouldn't expect someone at Corporate to know that.

It was not a personal attack. I just mentioned about his reputation. Like you said "he is GENERALLY liked", I agree that he will be generally liked at SWA also. However, it will be by the same group that generally likes him now.

Just to clarify your statement, I do know who he is and who you are. I never mentioned your names but believe me I do know you.

Does anyone else think it is odd that an ALPA representative is providing statements on a web board as fact, where in fact they are not required to be factual? I know there are SWAPA dudes on here, but I do not believe they are providing statements of facts representing SWAPA. It is interesting that the ALPA pilots think that is okay, with the nature of this board, and no one is challenging this. This is board is like TMZ for credibility.
