We can't disappoint the company. The owners MUST get to their destination and the comapny MUST NOT have to charter another company's plane to get he mission done. :)

So..

You guys at Avantair have the 7 n 7 schedule.

How well does the company do at getting you home on day 7 ??

And what is the penalty for not getting you home on your last day?

They seem to manage to get me home about 75% of the time on day seven. They can make you travel on day 8, but they can't make you work. My base is BOS, and I have more trouble than most others getting home on time. The ORD guys have better luck, I think. So do the guys out west. The penalty is a day of overtime, (150%) but that only kicks in after 4AM. I've gotten to BOS at 3:30 AM several times, which is not fun. The company will pay for a hotel if you are too tired to drive.
I think we have to hire soon, as we have just acquired some new aircraft, and we have lost five guys due to retirement and recalls.

Thanks for your interest. If you know an internal chain to yank, I would do it now.
