"Could Not Duplicate" as a way of clearing any maintenance writeup.

Does it count if I wrote it on the squawk sheet after "Oil level low!" when there's 110 gallons of oil and an oil can 5 feet away?

The Phillips Head screw.

Yeah seriously!

Or people who stripped it taking it off last time they overtorqued it and then reinstall and overtorque it.

Can't say I agree with you completely... but there are some tools I wouldn't go cheap on.

Pilots asking to deviate for weather when it is only rain. I mean come on you corp punks it will save you some time cleaning the bugs of those pretty slats. I can see if it is a convective cell or something but other then that just FLY and shut up.

I feel better now!!!

You're real cool pounding through the rough stuff held aloft by 20,000 hour spars. How, pray tell, can one tell if a cell is convective on the radar? I've seen some pretty nasty looking stuff that only painted green. And I've flown through some wicked rough stuff that didn't show up at all. So my point is, if I can take the deviation and keep my passengers comfortable, then yeah, I'm gonna do it and I could give 2 shi*s what some minimum wage prebuscent punk thinks. If my pax don't wake up until I open the door, then I've done my job.

Anybody who strikes children. One of these days I'm going to be in an FBO or terminal somewhere, and someone is going to strike their child in front of me, and they'll be hauling me out in cuffs and that person on a gurney.

Are you talking like spankings or like beating?

FAA Inspectors on a witch hunt that don't know what to do when they find a witch and act surprised when they get zapped.

Maintenance squawks resolved with "it's always done that" despite the rest of the 3000+ strong fleet of airplanes that don't do that.

Jet pilots afraid of the 'little' airplanes.

FBOs that treat me terribly when I'm in a little plane and stop fueling the little plane to roll out the red carpet for me when I'm in a big plane.

Hangar rents at VNY.

$5.55 per gallon avgas.

LAWA's contract clause allowing collection of back rent increases in a lump sum.

Politics.

The law that says I can't thump some idiot that bought their house at a discount then complains there is an airport nearby.

The idiot complaining about the airport noise but you can't hear him over his motorcycle w/tuned exhaust.

Noise sensors.

People that ask if I'm the best then ask me to lower my rate.

People that take 30 minutes to figure out I'm too expensive for them.

EXEC and discontinuities.

People who belly-ache about my letting off steam.

Nothing wrong with spanking your child. IF they diserve it.

But there is a huge difference in spanking for discipline and beating.

Kids today need more discipline. We are breeding a bunch of sissies just because nobody wants to spank their kids, and if they do they are called abusive parents. Or maybe that's just the way natural selection works nowdays. But then they willbe living off the goverment.......

Smack a child in my presence and one may be bleeding out of body parts one didn't know one had. Compared to my friendly attitude at that point in time, the angle of death is a nice guy.

Pilots that leave their landing lights on at night when I am trying to park them

Pilots that turn their pulse lights, comet flash strobes, and anything else you can think of before they even start their engines, but forget to turn their nav lights on in the dark

Pilots who think their request is the most important, when I have ten other airplanes to take care of. The world isn't going to stop turning if you have to wait five for some ice

Pilots who think all line guys are total idiots

People that ask for change back when they give me a ten spot for a ride to the hotel, after they just get out of their brand new SR22

Pilots who just show up at the airport on a busy saturday morning and ask for their aircraft to be pulled up so they can leave asap, then complain it took too long. Well sir, you haven't flown in two months, so your airplane is in the back of the hangar, I had to dump the hangar, along with all the other things I had to do. If you had called an hour ago, it would have been sitting on the line ready to go when you got here.

Pilots who ask for their plane out asap, then call to cancel right after we get it out of the back of the hangar.

Lazy line guys that don't see the big picture, and make the rest of us look bad

Pilots that fly something that burns jet-a, and sit on the ramp forever after they started engines. I would have much rather gotten you a GPU so you can get your clearance and not put up with all that noise. MU-2 and Turbo Commander pilots are the worst.

Slow line guys

South Florida drivers

Anyone from the islands

Anyone that has an extra loud exhaust on their vehicle

Anyone that drives an 95 Explorer that has more bondo than paint, but has 22" Chrome spinners

Hippies!!!!

I think it's around 180.. :)

I will admit, my parents didn't spank me too often that I can remember, all it took was one look from dad and I ceased whatever nonsense I was in the middle of.. :) However - I think if your spanking and leaving marks, welts, etc - that's way out of line..

I've been thinking personally about carrying a bottle of water and just squirting my kids in the forehead everytime they screw up.. :)

An eye for an eye, eh? I don't disagree with you on the spanking issue, but you are advocating repaying violence with violence, which doesn't seem right either. Where does the cycle end?

And he tells me I need medication! :erm:

New one for me....

Pilots who, when landing on a 9000 foot long, dry runway, with a 10 knot headwind, use max reverse on landing. And I truly mean MAX.

I've never heard such a terrible sound before.

Pilots who insisted on discussing their political, religious and moral beliefs in the cockpit. (I'll get more out of reading the instructions on the vomit bag)

Approach, Departure, and tower controllers in Phoenix, AZ

Anyone who is under the impression that they are so special they demand that all "all other traffic please advise"

Mental Giants who start their radio calls with "UUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" (think it through then press the button)

Guys at uncontrolled fields that listen to 3 or 4 airplanes make radio calls in the pattern such as "so and so, downwind for runway 9" wait for a gap on CTAF then use it to call unicom and ask "which runway is the active today"

The AMF pilot in the Lance at PHX that in the middle of rush hour ate up 7000 feet of runway getting his Lance down and stopped, forcing me to have to go around and spend another 30 minutes circling outside class B waiting to getting sequenced in again. (Thank you sir....you are an inspiration to us all)

Guys who after being handed off to another controller end their reply to the previous controller with "SSSSSEEEEEEEE YYYAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!. (Your are not a VJ for MTV just say thank you and carry on with your day)

The CAP pilot I saw taxiing out in an old Mooney with a current issue military flight helmet on and the dang visor down. (anyone who feels this is necessary equipment to fly a 40 year old Mooney needs to be locked in a portable toilet and set on fire!)

Pilots on Flight Info who list every single airplane they have ever flown.

exactly. looking at the threat, his comparison with the "angle" of death determined that the "angle" would be nicer and taking into account that the "angle" doesnt maim. one could only conclude that he is implying he would murder someone over spanking their child.

i can see it now. a mom gives a spank on the butt to her kid and avbug comes in and beats the woman to death. so now we know who beats up on women.

i guess taking the high road to fix a problem is out. when your plane, car or computer quits working are you one of those types that punch it?

i guess it would be too much trouble to try to educate the parent instead of committing violence against them.... hrmm.. do i smell hypocracy? if you're not willing to take the time to properly handle a situation, how can you expect someone else to?

How about FOs who use the spoilers WAAAAAY too much for no reason other than they think it's cool. Like using them in level flight to lose speed. They're for "go down," not "slow down."

I punch my stuff when I get mad at it.. but I wasn't spanked as a child.. :)

It has nothing to do with retribution. It has to do with preventing it in the first place, or stopping it in progress. Whatever it takes, no limits.

No regrets.

I said nothing of murder. Angel for the spelling police. And yes, the "angel" of death certainly does maim. My viewpoint, which you will never in this lifetime change, is that it's NEVER okay to hit a child, intimidate a child, or abuse a child, and god help you if you do so in my presence, because there is no force on earth that will help you then.

Whatever it takes. You conclude what you like. Just don't abuse a child in any way, shape or form in my sight, and it will never be an issue for you.

i guess it would be too much trouble to try to educate the parent instead of committing violence against them....

Certainly. Whatever it takes. No limits. No regrets. Ever.

Try me.

Obviously never worked with Tri-wings or Torq-sets.

Sure, all the time. But maniac pilots don't screw up torq screws or triwings...it takes hamhanded mechanics to do that. What I hate are screws that are worn out, usually from people who dont' know how to use a simple screwdriver, that have been overtorqued, and either end up needing an easy out or an old man to get out.

no the angel of death is called the angel of death because death is the outcome. otherwise he'd be called the angel of maim. you dont have to implicitly use the word murder. comparing your actions as being more favorable than dying via the angel of death is all thats needed to imply murder.

lots of big talk there. are you telling me that you'd punch a woman if she so much as put a single swat on the bottom of a child?

i'm not saying i disagree with you on the spanking issue.. but your chest thumping, woman beating threats are amusing if not worrisome. it also completely deflates any validity you may have to your point.

you'd get a lot farther educating people, like the psych from that website does, than by beating down women. not only that, you wont spend as much time in jail. also remember that some states allow people to shoot to prevent a kidnapping. i sure hope for your sake that when you start beating a woman and pulling on their kid that someone doesnt shoot you thinking that you're attempting a kidnapping.
