I had the same issue with the windows security...

It should work if you click on "additional job opportunities"...and scroll down to "Pilot"

At least that was the only way I could get to the application...

Good Luck!

Hey all, trying to do the online app., however being the computer genius that I am my computer is denying me access for "safety reasons" ie installation of potentially harmful software. Just wondering if there was another way to apply? Currently a type rated 767-300er FO/IRP with several years of international wide body experience. Those pay rates are decent after the first year, and also living just outside ILN. Thanks in advance for any help....

Outstanding. The future for ABX is at best ambiguous, ABX could even be a sinking ship. Ever heard of UPS?

Absolutely. That is the dream job for me. Waiting for the window to reopen to apply. In the meantime trying to find a decent paying job where I can commute by car....The commute to JFK is slowly killing me.

Understood. I hope it works out; good luck.

Agreed that ABX is in a time of flux, but a sinking ship is not quite where were at yet. I will say compared with the "MAJORS" we get payed more, get more time off and fly a he11 of a lot less. If you are lucky enough to live in a city where you fly to this job is the best deal in aviation.

That said, a qualified pilot waiting for brown / purple to call could do worse than coming to ABX. It is a good place to wait for the call from brown / purple. Also if you take a KIX assignment you can even pad the resume with international time, so when Delta does call, you will be ready (sarcasms was intended).:cartman:

True: we have been paid more, we have enjoyed more time off, we have flown a hell of a lot less; but I doubt if that trend will continue, hence the ship is sinking. Of course, if we successfully through the courts restrict the Asian operation and get rid of Hete (merge with Astar, fly DHL freight) things may well look up - but it could go either way.

So Very True.....................

I am forever the optimist.

Indeed; hope for the best, prepare for the worst. I sincerely hope that any new-hires to ABX have their eyes wide open.

"Hence the ship is sinking" I have not been able to find that definition any place I guess we should just accept your word as fact thanks for the news!
