A FINAL NUMBER OF RECALLS WILL DEPEND ON ATTRITION LEVELS THAT

only about 1,600 more to go till I get my call!! whoop-de-friggin' do!

good news though for those getting the call!

The memo stated "for those retiring or leaving the company." I don't have a clue how things are at AA. Do you have guys flat out quitting?

No jab, just curious.

I bet in the beginning, most guys will accept the call. I think as they get a little further down the list, they will get a lot more passes.

i've heard rumors that f/o's have been quitting - but I have no proof of that. But AA/TWA has a lot of retirees for the forseeable future - something like 350-500 a year for a long time. Does someone have any current info?

Kev,

I think the numbers creep up to almost 500+ a year after 2009.

If the other airlines are any indication, it is running about 15 - 1 recall/accept.

I figure they'll go through 100+ numbers each month they recall.

Going back to AA will be a huge step back for many. Kind of risky going back to a company that is so repressive and cares so little about its employees.

There have been quite a few newhires at UPS that have quit AA and many more who were furloughed.
