I find it ironic that its a SWA guy doing the big countdown when it was SWA pilots who drove the age 65 thing in the first place.

You don't have a fubijaakr what you're talking about. SWAPA didn't do sh!t until ALPA got onboard.

And YOU obviously cannot read for comprehension. Did I say anything about SWAPA? No.

It was a group of SOUTHWEST PILOTS who intiated the Age 65 petitions. PILOTS, not SWAPA.

You're a bit full of yourself after shafting the F9 guys aren't you?

The movement....- which effectively stopped after 9/11 - bc of outsourcing - and had only just begun to move again after that stagnation-.... will begin to move again.

There are studies that prove that working into old age will shorten your life. High stress jobs shorten your life even more.

Tom Brokaw calls them The Greatest Generation.

More like The Greediest Generation.

No- their parents were the greatest generation. They knew how to think and sacrifice. This one just takes and lives off of others work, over-valuing their own efforts.

Hi!

"No- their parents were the greatest generation. They knew how to think and sacrifice. This one just takes and lives off of others work, over-valuing their own efforts."

This type of comment has been repeated, literally, throughout ALL of human evolution. And, it is normal, as evolution is change, and as times change, different generations are affected differently. Most people, because of our biology, fear change, and so people generally view newer generations negatively, in many ways.

To embrace change, which is difficult, but will enhance our functioning on earth, we need to use our intellect to overrule our emotions, which is VERY, VERY DIFFICULT!

Please try.
