    TOS agreements

I have dealt with this in the past. It does depend on which state the company is headquartered in. In my case the base (PIT) did not matter. I fought it because they sicked a collections agent on me. Even if you win make them give you a letter releasing you from the contract (for future issues)...

anyone get out of the Chautauqua training contract?

The CBA said no one was protected or allowed representation til they were off of probation (1 year). Also, the "training contract" was really a promissory note. CHQ's way of not requiring training contracts (same difference, you still owed them 10000.00 if for any reason other than furlough you...

anyone get out of the Chautauqua training contract?

Trust me I went to multiple lawyers. Same story from all of them. Republic is based in Indiana (a right to work state). I was also on probation (less than a year) so the union ("Go Teamsters") wouldn't touch it even though you pay dues from day one. I had absolutely no recourse. I guess things...

At the indoc they told me I had to so I did (I did not plan on leaving). In January I injured my shoulder on the job and on an airplane(injury required surgery). I...

    We are under Attack

"User fees" is the catch phrase. The bill includes fees for gas taxes, ATC fees for use of the system, increases for medicals, checkrides, filing flight plans, etc.. The airlines are even running ads in some of the big papers about how GA is clogging the system causing delays. There are a number...

    We are under Attack

User fees Hi Guys, Just go to the AOPA website to get the real deal. It's a fact that the airlines are trying to blame congestion on general aviation (when's the last time you saw a 172 in ATL). It's also a fact that the system we now have in place funds itself with a surplus every year. Call...
