    What if..

I heard the deer's dad is a hot shot lawyer and he is suing the airport, the FAA and the airline. His case is the airport deer fence was 2" below regulation, the FAA didn't have an extra deer watcher in the tower, and the airline because it has a ton of money from not paying their employee's for...

Legal to Start legal to finish??

You are correct. It was an example and didn't think it all the way through. Thanks. Texx: Interpret it how you want. Just know what the requirements are, and the requirment is not 8 hours a day.

Legal to Start legal to finish??

Wrong Art. You can fly more than 8 hours in a day(24 hour period). You have to perform a rolling look back after each flight segment and see the required rest within each 24 hour period. Any look back that does not include normal rest, must be no less than reduced rest. If you see reduced rest...

    VDP's

Time: 10% of the HAT at the MAP. Subtract that from the time from FAF to MAP Example: 400 foot agl at MAP Time from FAF to MAP: 2 minutes 400 feet * 10% = 40 (seconds) 2 minutes subtract 40 seconds = 1 minute and 20 seconds PDP= 1 minute and 20 seconds after passing FAF.

Embry-Riddle and G O Jet, Stop the bleeding.

You don't know what I F-ing think. When posting on a board about pilot training and regional careers, what the h*ll do you want to talk about? Your favorite color? It is a shame you blew your wad at riddle.

    Street Captains

Great assesment FR8. And the funny thing is when he is told about a quick upgrade at SKW on the emb-120, he thinks it might be to hard. Sounds like captain material to me. Anyone still wondering why they are getting paid like they are???? What a f-ing Pvssy this guy is. Hey captain, get your...

Embry-Riddle and G O Jet, Stop the bleeding.

They must call it Riddle because it is such a mystery to them how their students can continiue to fall for such a joke. You just don't get it. My response was about none of those things you mentioned. By the tone of your post I would say you are somewhere in phase two of a riddle grad. The...

    CRJ Manual Xflow issue

That is the way I remember the reason for the no auto xflow on take off too. Still no takers on any company procedures?

    CRJ Manual Xflow issue

It is a regulation required by the FAA.

    CRJ Manual Xflow issue

Thanks you guys, I knew I could count on ya....Now does anyone have specific flight crew guidance, in SOP's for instance, that gives procedures for avoiding this problem? I think what I had read before said to not select the Xflow to manual if it was close to being done. Can't remember if there...

Embry-Riddle and G O Jet, Stop the bleeding.

This is hilarious. A bunch of guys who went and paid WAY to much for flight training because they drank the kool-aid EARU served them about getting them a job faster at a regional, making poverty wages mind you, having a boycott of another sub-par regional airline, that you career killing...

    CRJ Manual Xflow issue

Thanks Mamba and EDCT. I am trying to get more info on it, like the warning you get, but that is exactly the problem I am talking about.

    CRJ Manual Xflow issue

I know, i flew them for 7 years and only had it happen once, and it was the first known one, but not the last. It is a known problem, and I have seen other operators service bulletins and procedures for it. I would like the refresher course on it. Anyone?

    CRJ Manual Xflow issue

There is a known hiccup with the system. If the auto xflow operating and is close to being done (50lbs above the high wing) and you select manual mode, at take off for instance, you can, not always, can, get a warning message on the EICAS for the fuel system. I don't remember what the warning...
