Does anyone remember how to get the VDP from using both time and distance? I can't remember the two formulas; much appreciated.

thanks jacka$$
Nice comeback(for a playground.)

If after 130 posts you don't know about the search function, now you do. If you do know about the search function and just want someone to do your research for you; well, you're just too danged lazy to live.

Time:

10% of the HAT at the MAP. Subtract that from the time from FAF to MAP

Example:

400 foot agl at MAP
Time from FAF to MAP: 2 minutes

400 feet * 10% = 40 (seconds)

2 minutes subtract 40 seconds = 1 minute and 20 seconds

PDP= 1 minute and 20 seconds after passing FAF.
