Question for the Air Willy guys...
I was in PHL tonight watching the RJs in front of me getting hosed off. When one Air Willy CRJ was done, the CA asked for a "tactile check" to be done. Naturally, the deice guys had no idea what he was talking about. The CA explained that "all airplanes...
The economy, waterboarding, American Idol and other cultural errata has pretty much dominated the news these days. I worry that all of these distractions may just overwhelm the one day we should set aside each year to solemnly reflect on the lives of those who have served and made the ultimate...
Apparently, the FAA has seen the test gouge on some online posting... Actually, it was the exact written test with answers. Now we get to take a randomly generated test every CQ.
Way to go guys... Thanks for sharing with the feds. Don't be an a$$hat and put everything on the internet!

A few interesting tidbits from my last 4 days of flying...
1. Apparently, US Airways has skipped over a whole mess of pilots in the preferential hiring pool and started interviewing relatively junior FOs... As in 8/2004 hire date. I thought the program was supposed to respect seniority...
I have seen what APC has to say about the pay at CS, but what does a first year pay check really look like? Or is the APC data pretty much right on?
Thanks in advance...
Little rumor going around:
Piedmont is grounding up to 8 Dash -100s due to nose gear issues. Apparently, some rocket scientist forgot that about some time limited parts on the nose wheel assemblies until today.
