    Procedure debate

I hear all the aurguments..but has anyone ever asked the controllers..I have asked many of my friends who are controllers at large centers and approach controls. They all said the same thing to me. "If I wanted you to make another radio call I would not have given you a PD clearence." End...

    Breaking into the corporate world

Most fortune 500 company flight departments start much higher than a reputable regional and with some seniority pay way more than any regional and they do it without a Union...hmmmm how did that happen?

Where in the carolina's would you retire?

Think twice before moving to NC. Taxes are terrible, and if your from the north and you live in a smaller town, your not welcome. I lived all over the country and NC was the worst experience that I have ever had. I see you live in the Midwest..people in the midwest were the best. Southern...

    MN crash

You keep mentioning "shear". I have yet to hear about any shear at this airport at the time of the landing. I'm not saying there wasnt any but there is evidence of a tailwind.

    MN crash

I'm confused. Where did you see that they had stong wind shear and KOWA. I thought I heard a windshear alert given out by the RST controller. I was assuming he was talking about Rochester. I may be wrong but I would highly doubt that OWA has windshear alerting equipment.

    KTEB departures and delays

This is a little off the topic, but I see you filed CDR routes. The last time I did that and asked to use one to aviod a lengthy delay, the control asked me what I was talking about. I asked him if he say that I had filed CDR routes and he said yes, and then said "does that mean you are...

Overall state of the Corporate aviation industry

A third of your assets in bonds? WoW. If you age 55 or younger I think you should talk to an advisor. I think there are MUCH better places to put your money than bonds. Market is down..this is a great time to buy stocks or mutual funds if you are going to be in the game for then next ten years...

    Delta 767 Emerg in ATL

I wouldn't bash on those people who thing a single engine go-around is pucker-factor situation. Especially coming from a guy that looks like he has bad judgement himself. Who in their right mind would ever take a job that has you under fire in a 727 in Africa. Maybe you ought to look at your own...

    King Air 100

Have always wanted to ask this question. How is it that you can load the 100 with 8-10 pass and not be over zero fuel weight. Did you ever check the zero fuel weigth? Is there some type of stc that raises the zero fuel weight? I cannot believe you actually think the 100 flies better than a...

    King Air 100

It has been years but I have flown both models A100 and a B100 with -10's. I hated every minute of flying those airplanes. I love king airs but the 100 is a terrible airplane. Zero fuel weight is an issue on the airplane. The straight 100 is underpowered. The airplane has a terrible wing on it...

    Declaring minimum fuel

Could not have said it better. I have had the same thing happen to me when declaring min fuel. The controller asked me twice if I was declaring an emergency. Twice I had to say no that I am declaring min fuel. I then asked the controller if she know what that meant. To my suprise there was...

    Just Shredded The Union Card

No. the management has one goal. Make Money. That is what a business is supposed to do. I am not going to defend them..Power and Greed is powerful thing. I guess my point really is that I am so tired of hearing these union leaders say they actually care about you. That is such BS.

    Just Shredded The Union Card

Im sorry I didnt know that CS had due paying members of the union. I thought someone from the union had given these CS guys the cards to send out. I am referring to union leaders and not employees. I am asking a real question..are the guys who sent in out part of the union? or are they...

    Just Shredded The Union Card

I am referring to union leaders. Not union employees of the company. I grew up in a union town and saw how the union leaders of the national level made alot of money off the hard working person. In most of the situtions that i saw (teamsters) the employees lost so much money during the strike...

    Just Shredded The Union Card

I just question the motives of the union leaders who sent these cards out. Are they really there to help you? Or are they there to line there pockets with your dues? What exactly do they gain other than more power and money by having CS join a union?
