Been out of aviation for almost 10 years now, left a regional back in 2004 (3,000 hours turboprop), started a construction company have become pretty successful in terms of money being made, life style and family life. But for the life of me every time I see a plane go over my head I think what...
I left flying back in 2004, at that time I was single with no girlfriend but I could not stand the life style, being gone for 4/5 days, liviing out of a suit case, heck I even moved up on the senority list pretty fast so I had most weekends and holidays off I was about 14 spots left for me to...
Thanks for all the replies. I am looking to relocate to the SW, preferably Phoeniz area and was just curious. I am looking to stay in aviation with a job that allows me to be home most nights due to my family.
No rush since I know the economy is weak right now.
I have been out of flying for over 6 years now, use to work at a regional and decided to start my own business.......
I am looking to get back into flying and was hoping I could get some answers to questions. I do know the market is tough right now for employement so just looking for an idea...
I know it is expensive but not if you are full with 8 guys, thinking of going on a golf trip.
Is there rental price dry or wet, is fuel considered in that rate? Also does an instructor need to be with you when you rent?
If you can that would be great, I have over 3k with around 2k in saab 340.
Can you see how much recent time you need?
I appreciate it, called over there before but no one ever returned my call.
Seems like a great plane to fly. Are they owned by TEA?
Wondering if anyone knows any information on this type of work? I am assuming this is a typical sales job, but looking for quality and longetivity of this career and possible earnings per year. Any information would be great, thanks!

I was all for being an airline pilot growing up. Nothing was going to stop me from it, I scarficed a lot growing up by staying in school and making it to a regional position by the age of 22. I worked at the regional for 2 years and to be honest with you I hated it. I thought the...

Vclean if you saw what I wrote I said I did vote for the Union! That is a yes on the ballot. I just was pointing out that the one comment from ATAFAN said if we voted yes we could have a flow through, just used the example from management of us getting RJS if we voted no. And by the way...

about your comments about the union that we voted "NO" for! First off we heard a lot of promises if we vote YES for the union, and we heard the same if we voted NO for the union, well as a group we voted NO and all of those promise we are still waiting for over a year and a half now...
Yes the R1 is awesome. Just bought my 04 R6 last week, still a great bike, good balls, not as good as the R1, but I owuld like to live through the summer!

after getting the numbers from the OBD we have a weight and balance form that goes with our release. It has on there are take off weight, landing weight, are RTOW. It gives us all of our essential numbers.
Its actually pretty neat, we also need to know how to do it long hand as well, with...
at Chicago Express we use an OBD. Its a hand held palm pilot, i guess, It does all the weight and balance, speeds, and power settings for takeoff, go around and MCP.
um no. no new airplanes at all. The saab is at 34, but due to weights its 32. Fort wayne is our new city, but i think they just mistaken the amount of seats. Unfortunally were not getting new planes, and were pulling out of some very nice citie, well that our good for layovers.
