It is the same story everywhere! Companies (or the government) are trying to squeeze workers as much as they can. This process will continue.
Businesses are trying to reduce spending as much as possible to remain competitive. I am a pilot, however my company is not an aviation business...
Hey! Give me a break! Sometimes my mouth is full while I'm busy eating. Don't speak with your mouth full, right? Or maybe I'm deep involved into a conversation of company politics and I don't want to be bothered right now with a silly hand-off!
Geez! Some people just don't get it!
$500k in Gross Revenue doesn't tell you anything. What are their expenses? What is their Net Income (or Loss). It ain't cheap to be in the airplane business.
I used to work for a large Part 91 Operator where two of our pilots were involved in a major accident (no one injured). The FAA didn't care what our Ops Manual said. However, the company used the Ops Manual to fire the pilots! Funny thing was, we were always told to disregard the manual...
I did the same a few years ago. However, I received a letter from the IRS after filing my first tax return.
There is nothing wrong with being a sole member LLC legally. However, the IRS will not allow you to file a corporate tax return. If you remain the sole member, you will have to...
Pretty Simple Actually:
1. Discuss Any changes to normal procedures.
2. Review what you do if a problem occurs before V1. What you'll abort for and who does what.
3. Review what you do if a problem occurs after V1. Who does what and where you'll go.

I heard about someone who got scammed like this about 7 months ago. He quit his job at FSI and later found out the whole thing was BS. He had to go crawling back with his tail between his legs to get his job back. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
To start, we had Spicy Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms. Next came the garden salad with crumbled bleu cheese. For a main course I had Filet Mignon cooked medium rare with Mushroom gravy, Asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. After dinner, there was an assortment of pastries to choose from...

Climb and Cruise numbers are significantly better in the 50EX.
As far as the CX vs 50EX, you mentioned your average trip was 700-1500...
I did it in the Chicago area in addition to working as a CFI many moons ago. It was a lot of fun. Gave me a chance to sit in the left seat and actually do some flying instead of always watching my students fly. It can be mind numbing at times. I would recommend working as a CFI in addition...
This website has a lot of good information, however, it does NOT list any CORPORATE operators.
Dont confuse fractional or 135 with Corporate....big difference in salaries.

Last time I looked at our Falcon 900EX numbers, I think our average leg is like 2.3 hours. However, we use the aircraft to go to Asia, Europe, South America and South Africa MANY times per year. So you could say that our average leg is 1,000 miles. But we also need an airplane that can do...

VMO = Maximum Indicated Airspeed
MMO = Maximum Mach Speed
When you are at lower altitudes, VMO is more limiting than MMO. As you get higher MMO becomes more limiting. For example: If you are climbing at 300 KIAS and your VMO is 370 Knots (MMO is Mach .87), you are well below your VMO Speed...
