I have been out of flying for a while. I have like 2500 TT and close to 300 ME ATP CFI-I MEI. I am current but I have not flown but a few hours in the last 2 years or so. Do I stand a chance? Anyone out there that would hire me?
I am curious about Capital Cargo versus Amerijet. They both fly 727s they both are getting new planes. Capital 757s and Amerijet 767s.
I hear that Capital flies mostly during the week yet you are 16 on 16 off. Are they are bottom feeder and to cheap to fly you home for your days off? Why...
Hi All,
I have been out of flying due to a illness for the past 4 years or so and haven't done any flying for the last year or so except for with the FAA in heavy jet simulators. I'm not sure how you would rate me in terms of time but I have around 2500 TT around 300 ME and an ATP-CFI-II...
Does anyone know if Anthony Sullivan from pitchman (Billy Mays) is a pilot or student pilot? I could have sworn about 5 years ago I flew with him in central Florida area.
Anyone know?
Hi all,
I used to flight instruct full time a few years back and fly full time however I would like to ease back into aviation but only teaching ground school. (many reasons for this libity etc) Sitting back and doing the math it seems like it is more profitable to get 5-10 people together...
Any oldtimers here have any general tips or gotchas for flying the Boeing 727? In particular landing? Whats a good technique to use to grease it on?
No flamers please. Might be getting some time in one and just want to be prepared.
I am thinking about applying to a few aviation related government jobs in my area. Although they are not flying positions they require a degree of aviation knowledge. What is the trick to applying to these government jobs on USAJOBs? Somebody told me you need to include key words on your...

Thanks
...arguing that you only have to do 2 approaches on a IPC and not 3. One precision and a non-precision. The pts says that you must do the area's of operation listed in the PTS however for the checkride there is *note* mentioning that you must do two non-precision approaches. Anybody have a clue?
Hi all.
I will be doing a tailwheel endorsement for a friend. I was just wondering what a normal going rate for tailwheel instruction these days in the central florida area. I am just talking about the instructor rate.
Thanks
Hi,
The regulations mention dual flight controls to do instruction for something like a private (I am not talking instrument). I have a aircraft with dual rudder pedals, and single brake lever accessable to both pilots and a yoke that is in the center of the aircraft that is accessable to both...
This is purely hypothetical. Say you are about to get violated. You surrender your certs (ATP CFI etc). Can you immediately go out and take a checkride for the ATP or do you have to go Private, commercial etc. You obviously have the experience requirements. So I think you can go straight to...
