Does anyone know where I could get windshield templates for 30 series Learjets in order to make sunshades?
Or, does anyone know where to buy sunshades that fit the 30 series for a reasonable price? Cee Bailey's aircraft plastics has them for $185 but that seems a bit expensive to me.
Thanks...
Wondering if anyone knows any information about applying with Hendrick. I've seen their Saab 2000s at JQF. The operation seems pretty impressive.
I'm sure it's a high-demand position, just curious if anyone has any info.
Thanks in advance.

Seems like most people these days are using flightplan.com
Are there any other internet or software based flightplanners that you folks like to use? If so, what are the benefits over flightplan.com, and is it worth the money?

A new airline is on the verge of taking flight in Bentonville.

Looking for internet flight planning with a little bit more detail than you can find on flightplan.com or DUAT.
I especially like the ability to print the "trip-tik" sized enroute strips. Looks like Aeroplanner will also print NOS charts for destination and alternate airports.
They're both...
Does anyone know of a company that produces speed-cards at various weights for light-jets. These flip-books are commonly found in larger aircraft but i've not seen them in 30-series Learjets, Citations, etc.

Hello folks,
Wondering if anyone uses those "CeeGee" plastic weight and balance whiz-wheels at your airline.
I've been trying to find some contact information for the company that makes those things (we want to have some made for our corporate aircraft), but haven't been able to find anything...
In many ways it is similar to the popular gameshow. Open a suitcase. It might hold a million dollars. Or, it could hold a few hundred before the next furlough.
For many of us it has been almost 5 years since we were furloughed. The pain has worn off and, except for those who took J4J...
Over the last 10 years our profession has changed. We have all read threads that talk about the early to mid-90s when pilots needed 2500 hours TT to be competitive for a job flying a Jetstream or Saab 340. Even then, many of those jobs required a $10,000 "investment".
Today, we face a different...

The wife, infant-son, dog, and I are considering renting a 29 foot class C RV for a 700 mile trip in November.
We'll drive about 6 hours each day and stay in an RV park in memphis both ways.
We've never done this before. Does anyone have any suggestions?
With the closing of the Prudhoe Bay oil field it is expected that oil will exceed $80 per barrel.
If the instability in the middle-east continues to escalate and Iran withholds oil from the world market prices could continue to rise.
If Castro dies and the US involves itself in Cuban politics...
Just wondering if anyone knows what the payrate and guarantee would be for a pilot hired in 99' at USAir if he accepts recall:
To the E190 (f/o)
To the E190 (c/o)
To the Boeing, Airbus, etc?
Is there a commuter clause? How would that work with a possible 2-leg commute?
Also, does anyone know...
Went to the ER early this week for a kidney stone. They pumped me full of morphine, told me to drink, drink, drink and sent me home with a prescription for percocet.
