AirTran Alaska merger
Airtran does international flying and Airtran is bigger than Alaska. Challenging Alaska flying, Combi ops, and the international flying (Mexico & Canada is hardly international) does not make Alaska exempt from a buyout/merger...even RJET could make a bid for you guys... -

Another MD-11 down

MD-11 hard landing @ MEX
I'll take the MD-11 over the A320/A319/A318 series in a crosswind on any day. I really miss flying the "11"...to me it flew like a big CRJ. I love the 'Bus...but during a crosswind it will burn you more than the "11" will. -

Let's see...give the E190 flying to the Regionals, furloughs, shutdowns, mergers, buy-outs, asteroids falling from outerspace on T5, etc, then we better get a contract ASAP. Having a contract does not cause companies to screw over pilots. -

Question for Ex-Indy Air Pilots - How do you like current position?
Seems like most FO's (and some CA's) from ACA/Indy are at other regionals...and oh boy!!!...life is grand...low pay, getting shafted by scheduling, waiting for upgrades, so-on-and-so-forth... Oh well, at least I'm not alone in the terminal when I see all the Fly-I stickers on flight kits... -
