yeah and i guess the pi$$ poor service on legacies especially the attitude of the gate agents & FAs has nothing to do with it. The premium customers can vote with their feet - which is exactly whats happening. Blame whoever you want.
watch Delta fight this tooth and nail because it knows it cannot compete with Emirates on service or cost and will lose a ton of fliers especially the business travellers to EK.

worst offenders are flight attendants followed by gate agents so for all you guys thinking you're doing a great deed by supporting your FAs no matter what - you're only feeding this behaviour.
