Most likely not Jetblue. At least not without significant give backs. Some of those slots will have to go to other airlines. American/Usair may fair differently. Either way in a PEA world Jetblue pilots are screwed.

True. However, this company made it from 50 to 100 to 150 to 200 pilots, and so on.... without ever realizing a union was needed. Those at the top half have had more opportunities and time to right the ship. And I have found the top of the list more brain washed than the bottom.

But you can have a different opinion.
That's a pretty broad brush...
I'm top 17% and given time and/or money to the campaigns.
I've also flown with a lot of junior, "It's better than Mesa" types.
Hopefully, some of the 1193 juicers have begun to see the light.
I'm not getting my hopes up, though.

See, we do agree.

Alaska is not for sale...nothing to see here ....move along.

Agreed, if stock price is any indication, DAL couldn't afford AK. It would cost way to much to purchase just for the increase in market share they would get. Alaska is like Hawaiian, they each have a strong position in the market's they serve and a very loyal customer base. They are worth more as stand alone airlines than they are as merger fodder.
