sure signatures matter, the signatures on the T/A which controlled the timelines of our merger. Now if you read that T/A (which D and U learned from) It states that the arbitrated award will not be in effect until a JCBA is negotiated.
Soooooooo the NIC sits there waiting on a JCBA...
Easy answer, a JCBA was required to institute the NIC. this never happened. So NIC was never used or put into effect....
Think a Judge recently ruled on whether the NIC had to be used in the MOU, but I could be mistaken.
the guys over there could care less.....they are giddy about their interviews....and arguing over who gets to go first etc etc.........
If only ML knew of some of the quality they are picking up now....
First, ALPA would never do that......though they should.
Actually first.....Congrats to the eagle guys. I wish another unnamed Wholly Owned would have been cut from the same cloth.
Republic comes out and speaks of having to ground their 145's due to lack of pilots.....Signing...
PCL is simply trying to make amends for working for a scab outfit owned by a top of the line scab.
He paid for his job, and now is doing who knows what to climb that ladder to keep it.
He is not what one would call cut from the cloth of what the rest of us have done....
Well a 2003 hire is coming up on his 11th yr this year correct? Whereas the '99 hires are either already at 11th yr or also coming up to 11th year this year.
Seems if it went straight LOS, then those '99 guys would be mixed in with the '03 hires, not stapled below the '05 hires. A...
LOS does much better than the nic. Will still be above those hired after I was.....TY
I guess some of those hired at US, furloughed, then hired at AWA are a little upset? Are you?
Really don't need a real lawyer to interpret what she wrote. It's pretty much plain as day if you take off your blinders...
Sure she doesn't like how usapa operates or maybe there lawyers. But as she stated, there is nothing she can do about it. nothing illegal about it. Show me a...
Love those generalizations of the NIC award, I was looking at much more than 8% difference in seniority and much much more than 18months upgrade time.
Was the money and time worth it? Definitely, if nothing else. To see the west have a coronary and their infinite spin on the latest...
Well it seems we brought more to the merger than the west.
What's wrong Ginny? You upset that your your views didn't happen to fit into the scope of the law? Your assumptions were not affirmed, but rather rejected by a court of law? yes the judge said quite a few things within her...
I know you guys are going to read into he decision for whatever cracks of light you can. But go read pg 10. How she states. She is unable to compare the NIC with anything going forward.
Second. Please hold off on all of your legal interpretation because obviously most of you were wrong.
So...
Which vote are you talking about here?!?! The first 900 vote or the latest one where I believe they voted in the 900 pay rates, while Mesa was in BK. I believe US/Orenstien used those pay rates as the whipsaw against mesa pilots??!?!
The first vote for 900 pay rates were voted down...
So just curious, what were the hire dates of those on the CAL side that are saying they got screwed? Actually would be interesting to see Hire date with DOB compared to those that they got slotted next to. See how unfair this is.
Anyone outside of the merging partners get a copy of...
No actually I think the first two quotes put it quite clear what was wrong with the AAA/AWA sli, if it had followed this result, I'm sure they'd be on contract 2 or 3 by now.
When you two live birds can bid Clt Phl or dca. Then you got room to. Talk. Until that time you are essentially on te outside looking in, wondering why the lottery commisoner won't let you inside to cash your ticket.
This is your hurrah. The beat down to the east as you fine fellows out it...
And as the judge and judges have said. It doesn't necessarily have to be the Nic award. So here we are back at the beginning again. Guess you guys will have to wait till the SLI with APA is completed to start the DFR again.....
