Not that I've heard, I have a buddy interviewing there in a few days and it was still on as far as I know.

I heard the same...120 million profit last year and 14% profit margin this year along with 101 A319/320/321s starting to arrive this fall. Yep they are for sure closing doors.

Just announced MCO as a new base. Lets move pilots to buy new homes out in MCO then purposely close the doors on August 1st to teach them a lesson!

Hey, I have property on Mars that I want to sell you for a good rate.

Did I mention SWA is buying us? Tape loop.

That sounds about right.

I once got forced/displaced into an equipment lock into an airplane that only had one base. A bunch of us moved since the equipment lock was 2 years. 3 Days into systems ground school the company changed their mind and I got displaced to another A/C at another base. Had just signed a year lease and the contract only allowed for a one month buyout of leases. I commuted for 11 months from a city I never really wanted to live across 2 time zones. This all happened at a regional that was considered to have one of the top contracts at the time and a good mgt-pilot relationship.

PS- hope they're not closing up

Well Bubba, let's rationalize this. Your not part of a national union as a matter of fact your just an association. You can rationalize taking someone else's job through corporate maneuvering then don't expect any sympathy with your labor problems.
