Extreme opinions won't likely find much head space in Dallas this week.

In other words, usapas dream of DOH is dead and gone. What a waste of time and money supporting Usapa. I'd be peeved if I were an east pilot who kept swallowing the bait from the dream weavers. You've been played.

This is Chuck Duece checking in. I don't want DOH, but will fight for it if I have to consider the nic, and have told my reps. I don't want your guys who were still in training at the time of the merger to be my Captain. I want some credit for my service to a company which paid high dollars to the wonderfull managent and the share holders and by law got to screw their creditors with the great Ch 11 system we have.

I believe that APA has an age group and seniority level compareable to the "East". Why do you think that they would embrace"The nic"? On another note, I really hope that if this merger comes to fruition, that it will be done with the expediancy of the Delta/ NWA merger. I think this matchup has great potential.

APA has as much choice in the Nic As USTUPID. NONE. They inherit the DFR. Nothing on record should encourage any opinion otherwise.

I don't know.

I see a lot of positives to it, but I also think that the network itself -- the route map -- has a lot of overlap.

If that proved to be true, it would benefit the company more than the pilots. Who knows . . . we'll see what happens.

You haven't seen the route maps. There is very little overlap.

Yes a merger would be nice. We'd get to burn the embarrassing uniforms we have to share with the east. APA is well aware of how Usapa does bizness (intentionally misspelled). The industry is well aware how "solid" usapas integrity is. (or isnt).

What I "live on" is non of your business. I can assure you that what I make is far beyond what YOU may expect. I too choose to fly as little as possible and place my focus on other ventures. Most guys here are doing the same. Seniority IS NOT FOR SALE!! You can sit there in the confines of your pathetic little world and spew insults to those that most likely came before you. I can care less. The reality is the Nic is dead, and most on the east will see incredible upward movement as WE recapture OUR attrition..If this bothers you, then go ahead and vent. Carry on with the insults and child play. I've got better things to do than argue with a hypocrite such as your self...
If the shoe were on the other foot.......

Most east guys have to focus elsewhere as the current pay and work rules are dismal. As for seniority not being for sale, it's too bad your east pilots never had the chance to prove you wrong with a vote. I'd bet a contract would pass if presented with AA pay using the Nic, Usapa wont let a vote happen. They must be afraid that it would pass and the AFO's running Usapa would be -SOLD OUT.

How much time of service did you have? Where do you think you deserve to be? It sounds like you dont "want" doh, but you want all the reward for a growing company.
