LOL. From the poster with the least credibility on here. Everyone is always waiting with baited breath for you spot on prognastications! Do tell us more, Kreskin! Or are you too busy shining Lees shoes?

Haha, if you had been spot on, the company would have been shut down or near it right now. Every other one of your posts are about how your panties are in a wad because you think you're going to get furloughed, lose your house, your wife etc. Go nonrev to a beach and chill out.

Im in the top half of the company. I won't be furloughed.

You can point to my saying I didn't believe we would see 900's here, since Skywest opened a 900 base in ATL. I was wrong. As for the rest of your assertions, they are fabricated and
Assnine....assiten.....asseleven! (thanks to Steven A.!)

What assertions? Do tell! I was one of the first on here to tell Acey pilots to embrace PBS and it could be a great thing. Check that thread and look at the negative and now proven wrong reactions.

And I can point to a whole lot more than just your 900 point. You recently went on a whole rant about losing your job thanks to the new Delta contract. Once again, you need to chill

Maybe because a CAL guy was bashing DAL pilots on a regional thread?

You do understand that rhetorical questions are not expected to be answered?!

Please tell me you learned this in school...

(ps - THAT is a rhetorical statement...)

what are the proven wrong reactions? Most negitive posts were saying that it wasn't going to create growth instead that it would most likely create stagnation which it has.

Ah...where to begin?

You are kidding, right? Was there some sort of sarcasm indicator that you missed?

PBS would NOT be an improvement for the overwhelming, vast majority of the pilot group.

If the folks that run the airline want us to operate under a PBS system, they will have to negotiate for it. If pilots are going to take the hit to their quality of life that will come with PBS, then there WILL be something given to the pilot group in return.

This 'do a favor for management' line of thinking is playing with fire...

ASA could switch to PBS, fly single engine in cruise, take a paycut and work a day for free each month, and it won't stop the flying from going to Pinnacle and Mesaba. Anderson is a Wholly Owned carrier guy, as opposed to Delta's former leadership. ASA has shrunk in the past year, at the expense of Pinnacle's and now Mesaba's growth. I don't see what we can do to stop the slide now. It's funny, every day I see ASA above Pinnacle in performance (despite having 10 times the flights for DCI), yet Pinnacle gets more growth while ASA shrinks. ASA was told no growth during negotiations due to not knowing our future costs, yet Pinnacle continues to grow despite negotioations. Right now, ASA is on the outside looking in at the DCI restructuring, which will only get worse post-merger when 50's start getting parked as they have stated.

That said, I don't think PBS is that big of a deal like a lot of guys who think it is the end of the world.

Gee, 124 to 140. Sound like growth to me. Last I checked PCL just got what, 22 900's for Delta with that last batch of 7, and more options to follow.

As for Mesaba, I'm just going by the "massive growth" I'm hearing that they are about to get. Managers at ASA are also saying that it looks like Mesaba will be getting the future DCI growth post-merger.

All ASA has got is the retirement of their ATR's.

Tons of growth going on over at Mesaba(Now Pinnacle)!

Don't give in. PBS RUN AWAY. You all giving into PBS won't matter a hill of beans to the final count.

1. I, I and I.

2. If you really think this ask the CMR guys about the growth they were promised. ZERO, they were cut.

3. Is this your code word for FAVOR? Are you the type that has to be just like everyone else? Every airline is different. What works for one may not work another.

My crystal ball says that in 2 years, the same time the DCI agreement and the current contract is amendable (that's the reason the company went from 5 years straight to 3 years duration), ASA will have approx 1000 pilots on their list. Look at Air Wiskey.

Close on the 1000 pilots at ASA. You were ONLY off by 700 pilots if you only consider the CRJ side...

777, I think you spent too much time on the ATR flying with JoeyMerchant. ;) Don't fall for that crap. PBS is a nightmare, and you shouldn't give them anything without something in return.

It works great if your senior.......sounds like you're junior enough to still be doing MGM trips....just on the jet

777forever, for someone who's never been able to hold an actual line, you really seem to know a lot about why PBS is so much better than our current line system.

PBS will especially suck for those of us that don't want to be regional lifers.

PBS will not get us those shiny EMB-175s, it will not get us another $2.35/hr pay raise, it won't get us United and British Airways flying, and it won't get us 777's...forever.

The problem, I believe is, the PBS that ASA would get is the one that is already compatible to the sked+ and crewbid, which is the one Skywest uses.

I could be wrong, that is how I understand it, though.

Yes, you were wrong

We will never allow PBS at ASA! Wait a minute...

:D
As far as growth, wait til the end of the month, which I believe will put to rest the opinion that PBS has stagnated Acey.

most of those posts supported what I said earlier, that most negative posters were saying PBS wouldn't create growth. And we are looking forward to throwing your new prediction in your face at the end of this month.

2 posts from 79% don't qualify as "most"

The majority of people against PBS were so for QOL issues. They were simply wrong
