I'm not sure what the P300 is like but the P100 hydroplanes like crazy, and breaks a lot. We've had 5 AOGs in one year and have complied with over 45 SBs. The plane is built like crap. Hopefully the P300 is built a little better and can handle the work load that NJ will put on it.

From the pax perspective, p180 has the better cabin, the p300 has better range.

After watching a few seasons of Top Gear, I have come to realize the P180 is a true Ferrari- it is always on the brink of "out-of-control", needs a pit crew wherever it goes, and designed to be a spectator sport. All great qualities if you are on the sidelines!

Unfortunately, as a pilot I have been trained to avoid such things.

Thanks for that, we've all heard props are for boats, in this thread. You should try reading before repeating what other's have already said. I would like to be flying a jet myself but getting in and out of 2,500' strips in mountainous terrain in the heat of summer makes props the only option doesn't it? It must be nice, maybe boring, flying into all those long and wide ILS runways.
