SWA/FO, out of the park home run.

I'm, not going to post internal corporate communications but all you AT folks might want to go to CWA and read what Mr Kelly said today.

Judge,
Agree. Maybe this is therapudic; getting it out of our systems, etc. I still think - in a few years from now - this will be in the past, and we'll all be gathered around the same tables drinking the same spiked beverages trying to make the FA's hotter than they really are. Any planned upgrades may have been delayed - again - for some, as well as some fat pay raises, but that was probably inevitable considering this economic "soft patch."

After reading all this stuff about the WN/AT SLI, I've got one thing to say and one question.

On behalf of all AWA/UsAirways pilots, "Welcome Aboard".

My question is, when Southwest pilots get home from a trip, do they make love to their wives/girlfriends/husbands/boyfriends, or do they just masturbate to pictures of themselves?

Well played sir! That pretty much sums up the last 10 months of this board's daily banter.

SWA/FO and Scoreboard - you seem to take great joy in the potential for fellow pilots to be out of a job. Real nice of you guys there. Have you ever actually heard of "the golden rule"?

Ty,

And until you see it from our perspective: an AAI seniority AND pay grab emboldened by B/M legislation, you will not get it either...at least you were getting $$ for your seniority...and as per the AIP I was going to be your FO and my DOH was before yours...cry me a river!

Money comes and goes, seniority lasts for as long as the company is in business. Never sell seniority for money, sounds like the airtran guys understand that no matter how much the swa boys downplay it.

I'm usually kinda of a jackass, I'll admit. However, in this instance I want to say seriously that I feel bad for the good pilots at AirTran who didn't ask for what is coming their way.

ALPA has once again screwed its membership. I have no doubt that many of the AirTran pilots will carry the burden of the ALPA misjudgment of their actual leverage and usefulness. SWA is about making money and taking care of their own. ALPA, and the average AirTran pilot will get the full brunt of the BORG because ALPA didn't have sense enough to be reasonable.

To the average line guy, I'd like to say I'm sorry. Your family should not have to endure the pain inflicted on you because of a failure of your union.

Fly Safe!
