Alpo didn't even follow it's own merger policy, it invented extracurricular bull******************** 'committees' designed to try and get the AWA pilots to bend over and give the east what they wanted(after the arbitrator already rejected all that ********************). Prater interjected his own biases, predjudices, and politics into it. And he didn't operate in a vacumn.

I hope the TWA guys give em a good swift kick in the balls with this lawsuit. ******************** ALPO.

If anyone from Jet Blue expects ALPO to make a positive difference in a merger with AA, they need to have their heads examined.

We have many ex-TWA folks on board for ALPA at J.B. They dont get caught up in emotions, just make sound decisions. They are all part of the suit against ALPA, but yet support ALPA at Jetblue. Ask your self why would they support the devil after being " screwed so hard"?

You must work at a different J.B. because your 7500.00 per year would equal about $375,000.00 per year. I highly doubt that. Get your facts straight about dues.

No, he is right...He is one of the check airman that has made close to 400K recently...You know which 2 guys I am talking about...

I understand. If I were to have an alpo vote in front of me at LCC I would vote for them. I just like to make noise sometimes, and after what they pulled I will only refer to them as alpo, I figure that's fair enough.

After living with usapa, it's impossible to make a legitimate argument that alpo is worse, or any other union for that matter.

In all seriousness, if I were a Jet Blue guy I would vote alpo.

They want to fund ALPO long enough to keep them a viable org until they win their court battle. :D

Ask yourself whether USAPA's "leadership" could get away with the things they've pulled if they were under the oversight of ALPA national. Take away the seniority integration entirely and just focus on USAPA's accomplishments since it has been in existance. Don't blame the dissenters for Cleary's impotence. He and the rest of the leadership have purposely taken on a "little man" combative stance that everyone laughs at.

Why does that matter at JetBlue? Because the very same sort of union hijancking is much more difficult when it is part of a larger organization that can buffer the immature antics that some unions (cults) try to get away with and which undermine or destroy their ability to provide the services their members are paying for.

outlaw alpa out law alpa outlaw alpa outlaw alpa outlaw alpa outlaw alpa outlaw alpa

The anti-ALPA crowd never has a good solution. They whine, bitch, and moan but they never have anything but some kind of emotional response. I've heard it all; ALPA screwed my grandmother, ALPA didn't keep my job at my bankrupt employer, ALPA was mean to me, an so on. Pull your pants up boys and girls and take charge of your career. Quit sitting around and being a passenger in life.

The in-house thing would be a paper tiger with not a tooth in its mouth. Do I love ALPA? Nope. Will it fix all our problems? Nope.

At the end of the day it's about continuing on with a system that is out date and ineffective. The PVC members are hard workers but it's about as effective as a kindergarten student council.

and the pro-ALPA, doesn't do the same thing, play to emotions, bitch, etc?
