My posting has absolutely nothing to do with my "professionalism" or lack thereof, any differently than any other poster on here, including you.

This is a non-airline-affiliated MESSAGE BOARD, not an airline cockpit or a Chief Pilot's office. I'm free to express my OPINION. So are you. I don't edit or delete other people's posts who disagree with me, but I don't simply cease to have an opinion solely because I'm a Mod. To think so is actually pretty ludicrous...

What's inflammatory is the fact that there are large numbers of these type crews at the regionals. We all know it and it's a miracle more accidents have not happened. Interesting how we never heard these type stories a couple of decades ago, it's directly related to sjs syndrome. No one is perfect, but as with many things, there is a certain level of competence required...simple truth.

You can't hurt my feelings on here, my skin is a LOT thicker than that. I have a lot of friends and I have a few enemies. That's life. I don't tiptoe around anyone, least of all some anonymous person hiding behind a screen name.

If someone doesn't like how I moderate or that I still express my personal opinions from a non-moderator point of view, email the Webmaster (website owner). If he wants to yank my mod status over it, that's fine, too. I spend more time on here policing other people's stupidity than I really need to anyway, because some people can't seem to follow the few, simple rules that this board requires.

I'm on here for information and entertainment value. I'd rather continue to enjoy this board for those purposes than be a mod if it requires anything different than I've done for years. No biggie, just my priorities.

There are "these" type crews at the majors as well... Not just the regionals. Let's look at the crew that overflew MSP a few months back. The crew in Atlanta that landed a 767 on a taxiway as well as a crew in EWR that also landed on a taxiway.

Point is that mistakes are possible in ANY cockpit and let's just thank God that no lives were lost in these listed...
