ignore the little man (B19) behind the curtain

Why do you feed this guy's ego?

Even when you give him crap, he just flourishes like a mushroom.

Ignore him and watch him shrivel up...again ;)

This is about the entire company, not just the pilots. This is simply about union greed and nothing more.

Given the author, this is a facinateing statement....What it really is about.... is the worth... or value, to a peticular occupation. I believe in your world, their is no value to a job. Only value to the company. It is my firm belief that you must be socialist in nature. Have you followed and believe in the writings of "Marx...." Your only duty is to the.... "STATE."

Are you also athiestic, in your views, to other topics. Your written word, reaks of a passive individual eager to please authority.... BTW, when it comes to corporate america, whose greed are we talking about.

Wow... that's funny.

Here I have been fighting for individual thinking for over 3 years and completely against the mob mentality brought on by unions and you deem me a passive individual eager to please.

I'm one of very few to speak the honest truth about unions and to stand up to all the union koolaide drinkers and you deem me passive.

Wow.. that's funny.

I'm a card carrying Reagan republican that will do anything to protect the entity known as a company. The company provides the jobs for all, and the stability is paramount to its future and success.

Unions only believe in the democratic method of group mentality and ignorance of anybody from outside the clic. They force themselves on you if you want them or not, just like this Obama health care nightmare.

You believe that a group can achieve success within that company and that success is judged by the size of your paycheck. You really don't care even about the non-union person that processes your paycheck.

I believe that the it takes the entire company to achieve success and that union breaks down the stability within that company. I believe in less red tape and the freedom of individual choice. As a union member, you have no individual choice.

Without everybody else, a pilot has no job but the union considers them expendable.

BS

You sit in the office and come up without complete BS for employee's to have to do and then you run around with a big badge of honor on your chest meanwhile the employees are running around saying who is the A Hole that come up with this sh@t

I fired the unhappy people. People usually laugh at this point. I wish I were kidding.

More nasal drips......If your so proud of this so called company tell us all what it is. How about a stock symbol.
BTW I loved that book, you talk so highly of, but my take was completely different. The employees of the ship took control of a out-of- control leader. They ejected his ass.
hmmmmm

A reporter from the NY Times wrote the article and the company was privately held.

B19 is no manager. Because must obviously believe, based on public statements, that MANAGERS are greedy overpaid buffoons.

See B19 believes that no one should be paid more than minimum wage. If you are then YOU are the problem.

B19 is no leader of an organization would say or believe anything you have said, and survived. Perhaps you are the most disgruntled of them all, a FIRED , mid level manager, from Netjets, that once drank the Koolaid and believed, only to discover the grim reality was that Union Dues paying employees were the ONLY employees protected during the FIRINGS....

Hey B19 I'm not sorry I have a job and you do not.... Hows that for honesty.

Follow up... 29 miners died this week in a Mine that has been contiually cited for safety violations. It's interesting to note that this particular mine is not a Union Mine. Unions provide much need security to employees that see and bring to light SAFETY failures and issues, and thus result in a safer operations.

Good Point Mr Ghostrider.

I'm assuming B19 see's this as being perfectly OK though.

Not sure this is an appropriate topic to discuss with the tragedy that is going on.

You are also opening yourself up for a body slam. Aircraft disasters are normally with the majors that are all unionized.

Do what you want, but this topic should probably be just go away.

And what would your response be if this had been a "union mine?" Uh huh, that's what I thought......

I would say accidents happen everywhere. However at NJA there would be ZERO recourse from discontinuing a flight that ANYONE felt was unsafe, WE OPERATE WITHOUT FEAR OF RETRIBUTION.

I challenge anyone to argue that being an "at will employee" has that type of support.

When was the last time you canceled a flight because "you thought the tires were under-inflated". As an example...
