My point is simple. You really have no idea what your talking about! On TEX, "special" airports, on a lot of chit! You got upstaged by someone who actually knows something about TEX and you look like and idiot. You look even more like an idiot trying to prove that you know someone who supposidly knows me. Don't be mad that all your "friends" rolled over on you like a whore in church and gave up your name an employee number to everyone on FI. If anyone wants to know who Ty Web is feel free to PM me!

Yawn . . . . Many people know who I am . . like anyone cares. I say the same things in person I do on this board, it's not a surprise. Get a life, little man. You, on the other hand, talk big on F.I., but when I PM'ed you and asked if you if you wanted to meet me at a gym somewhere, and box a couple of rounds, you went silent and disappeared under your rock with your knees knocking. So, in the unlikely event you find your sack, here's the invite again.

JFC, are you for real? Why don't you challenge him to a fight after last period and get it over with.

He's obviously a socially inept, maladjusted little wiener. Just another oxygen thief, hanging out in the training center, trying to get into their good graces, because he's a weak sister in the airplane and in general.

Oh Ty.... You so funny! Funny thing is, you talked like a complete PU###% when I talked to you in the crew room! No swagger what so ever!!!!!! You gave my capt and I a good laugh though!

Im not going to fight you you idiot! And trust me, it ain't because Im aftraid of you! Its because I don't need to! I grew out of that stage about the 4th time I ended up in a cop car in college and I almost threw my career away! But boy did I love to fight, and I was getting pretty good at it as well! Never did it with gloves either. Because anyone can take a punch from 14 oz gloves!

Funny, if we ever met, you sure didn't have the balls to identify yourself. . . . and still don't. Make sure you come up and introduce yourself as the "nutless wonder" next time.

Took a 40seater in their a few times was no problem and I don't think it was captain only(cause my FO flew it). Was a great hotel, spent 3 days when we showed up the next morning and the plane was broke. That was a great layover. Flew it to Atlanta flaps 15 ferry with a stop in GNV

Naw... Its more fun to watch how two sided you are! Your a big bully on FI trying to shove people around and make fun of them, but once your not infront of you computer your just another insecure guy who couldn't get laid by the good looking girls in college! Brad Paisley wrote a great song about guys like you! Have fun! I'm done!

Did they recently change the vis requirements for VFR?

This is waaay too funny . . . . Let's see . . . . So far, GT1900 is ready to fly single bleed source from ATL-CUN-ATL, fly into EYW without question, and now he's ready to fly VFR with 2 miles viz.

Survey Says . . . . . . . Azz Clown!

4800 ft is a pretty long runway in my book. I don't see why landing 1000 ft down the runway would require any special training or simulator. I was taught on a 2800 ft runway during my initial Private licencse training. Give me a break guys.

I thought your post was stupid on the 737-900 thread. Security Sensitive...LOL, but this tops that. Most every one of your post prove to me you are no where near what you claim to be. Each one dumber than the last. I do not believe for a minute that you fly for a "major".

What in the world does flying a 152 our of 2800 feet have to do with taking a 737 in to Key West. Here is a hint.....NONE!

And if you are going to insult the abilities of professionals, you should at least know how to spell License.

Yep.

The old farts in the training center will need to be replaced at some point, either due to senility or death. GT's interviewing daily.

Looks like Delta is going to fight back.

Delta to add daily flight
Delta will begin running Boeing 737s out of Key West International Airport starting Dec. 17 to handle peak season tourism traffic, the company said Friday.

It was the second carrier to announce new flights using the jumbo jets in little more than a week; AirTran on Sept. 8 said it will start an Orlando to Key West route using the 737s, also in December.

Delta, which already runs direct flights to Atlanta from here using the 70-seat CRJ700 aircraft three times a day, will add a daily, 124-seat large "heavy" commercial aircraft direct flight to the Georgia city the week before Christmas.

Atlanta and Key West apparently have enough people interested in using the service to make it financially worthwhile, Delta officials said.

"We are encouraged by the continued strong customer demand for service to Key West and add the larger jets on the Key West-Atlanta route in time for the peak winter season," states a press release the company issued Friday.

Monroe County Airports Director Peter Horton met with a Delta operations manager Friday and the two reviewed landing strip length, taxi and ramp space and other details the airline must verify to land and maneuver the large aircraft. The airport has hosted 737s in past seasons but the Delta manager must see the facilities before launching service.

Horton said he gave the Delta official a tour.

"We showed the Delta manager our new parking building, the remodeled departure and arrival areas, and the configuration of the commercial parking and tarmac area," Horton said. "We showed him what parking space the jet will go into."

The airport has become a busy place in recent months, Horton said.

"We had 453,000 passengers last year, which is an average of 1,240 passengers a day," he said. "Our passenger numbers are up 20 percent this August from last August; our July numbers are up 12.5 percent."

Horton said the airport already is classified for Delta 737s, which will offer first-class and economy-class seating.

According to Delta, the 737 flight schedule is as follows:

• Boeing 737-700 arrives Key West daily at noon and departs at 12:45 p.m.

• Delta CRJ-700s flights will depart Key West daily at 7:45 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

The 737s can be loud, however. An average busy city street is at about 40 decibels; when taking off, the 737s can reach 85-100 decibels, according to the National Aeronautic Space Administration testing facilities.

He reminds me of that guy called 350drvr, total poser...

Think there'll be enough room on that little airport for all those "heavy" jumbo jet 737's?

That writer needs a "tour". haha

Stick to instructing then. We're all better off.

Your signature is cute and original; "I love to fly and it shows." It took a while to think that one up didn't it?

By the looks of your avatar, you love to eat and it shows, too. I'm guessing a slight amount of left aileron trim is required with you around.

Correct if I'm wrong. I was always under the impression that the 737-700 performed better at high altitute (more efficient wing), and 717 had the short takeoff roll advantage which allows it to feed mainline in ATL

The -700 was designed with special airport considerations in mind (second segment climb, approach/climb limits, etc).

Well

Takeoff on a wet runway when you are heavy and its hot outside and then have to abort?? Normal conditions for Key West.

You are going off the end.... and thats not going to be good

Back to the old "anything over 100 kts, we're only aborting for an engine failure, fire, loss of directional control, or a T/R deployment. Otherwise, we ain't stopping for sh*t..."

That's why jets have longer runway requirements (and corresponding lower max takeoff weights off shorter runways) when its wet...

...but not by a pea-brain like you...whatever airline you are at.

I spent a couple of minutes trying to determine what point you were attempting to make other than just to insult some anonymous internet poster. Still don't get it. Are you one of the scabs and retired management a$$ kissers in the FL training department? I have personal experience with those bozos (there are still a few good guys, but not many), which one are you? A good flush is exactly what is needed over there (which, if AP hadn't caved prior to the 2007 furloughs is exactly what would have happened), unfortunately gt1900 sounds like he's auditioning for one of their jobs.

I can only speculate as to the size of YOUR brain, since the little profile thingee next to my post lists BBJ and G4 Captain as current position. I'll let you draw your own conclusion as to what "airline" I work for.
