It sucks. It's under the umbrella of Pathetic Wings (Pacific Wings) in Hawaii. The owner is terrible, and runs the typical scumbag outfit which preys on young and naieve pilots (I.E.- If you work the ticket counter for free, I'll pay you to fly). Only problem is, they don't deliver the flight time.

I have seen these guys flying into ATL. They come from MCN etc... The funny thing is MCN HATED ASA!!!! They bitched and bitched for years about having to fly on a "little jet."

Now they are really getting what they deserve!

-Caravans aplenty, and they don't even park at the concourses!!!!

It is DEFINITELY quicker to drive from MCN, but our idiot govt. is paying these clowns 3.3 million per year for Essential Air Service.....

While I agree that the company does not have the best reputation (for good reason I am told) but you guys are showing your "shiny jet syndrome" by ripping on the "crappy single engine 9 seat planes." Ranks right up there with my RJ is bigger than your RJ but you make 20 dollars more a month than me. I know lots of people that have flown vans for DOUBLE or more what regionals pay their FOs. Pretty sad actually. However, I bet that is not the case here.

I know it's hard to imagine, but there are lots of qualified pilots on the street right now, and alot of them refuse to apply at the regionals because the pilots have agreed to work for such a crap wage.

Those that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

If you work for them,what is PIC salary,SIC salary,benefits,QOL,hours flight time/month,medical plan,etc,etc.????

I looked on expedia and a roundtrip flight from Athens to Atlanta is $280. Block time is 45 minutes.

Sounds about right. At least they have one thing figured out, they don't give away their services for a loss like the bigger airlines. It makes me sick. Here is a example: you can get from Ft Lauderdale to San Juan, and from JFK to San Juan for about 100 dollars each way one Spirit and Jet Blue respectively. The connecting flight on a 402 to St. Thomas is about 135 dollars each way. Cape air is hiring, what is Spirit and Jet Blue doing. I really like both of their products, and the service they provide, but when will airline management quit giving away the milk when you could sell the whole cow?

-I have seen what kind of classless town MCN is, and their govt. should have been happy to have cheap air service on RJs for years. ASA even built a huge mx facility there, and MCN screwed them every way they could think of. A truly classless place...

MCN deserves crappy Caravans that have to park at the cargo terminal. They only thought they had crappy air service before, now they KNOW they have crappy air service.

There is no question that a sorry Caravan that has to park in a remote area with no connection to the concourses is crappy air service-regardless of who flies it or whether the plane happens to be shiny or not.

We agree on something, Macon sux. My fiance' was living there when I met her 4 years ago. She was flying out of downtown airport for RamEx. I think the entire town has a combined one set of teeth. There are some places north of town that are alright though. The area around the base that is.
