I'm sure that you west losers are just thinking there's nothing like the b_tt love of a staple job.
I suspect that both MECs are digging into their own budgets to fund the lawsuit and defense. I seriously doubt that ALPA will approve an extra OCF grant as a result of this lawsuit. They'll probably have to get by with their existing budgets.
Apparently all ALPA members will be paying dues toward the defense of this lawsuit. You really have to ask yourself, WTF are these guys smoking in the EAST?
Now they have jobs that are more stable then before and a chance to continue their career's with the same relative senority they had before this transaction. In some cases better senority, ie..top 540 something pilots at the top of the list.
GREED is DEADLY! They were victims of this before and it looks like they will fall victims of this infectious greed once again. This time it may actually bring a union to its knees, or at the very least ruin a company.
I wonder what they have up there sleeves for the next act while standing in the unemployment line? You would think that the majority of them would pipe up and put a stop to this madness.
Actually, it sounds good (based on my nineth or tenth grade grammer level). This is how leaders need to communicate. No BS and to the point. Not saying that I agree or disagree with the arbitration. But, it sounds fairly accurate without all the politically correct fluff. This guy needs to work for that Big Balls Airline.
I think they figure this: "Hell what is there to loose that I haven't already lost?"
Generally, one learns to spell "grammar" by tenth grade.
Relax Francis.....I'm just having some fun with WD and the girls from AWA!

Why is there a AAA lawsuit?
Gotta just love these AWA U-TURN GUYS, here is a reason why, a message from them:
The entire article is below but note the mindset:
"And without a single contract, the Nicolau Award cannot be implemented. This could buy the East as much as three years of separate operations and arguably 900 upgrades (notwithstanding a change to Age 60)."
Well, there you have it. The "unofficial" U-Turn acknowledgement that they wish to inherit at least 900 upgrades that belong to the east pilots, BUT can't get their hands on them without Nicolau. And they can say that Nicolau was a windfall for the East?
we don't even have 900 guys that need upgrading!!!
Hey vtwin....you a funny man.....right.
we don't even have 900 guys that need upgrading!!!
do the math
Why...because they're not 23 yet, or they don't have the the 1500?
LOL all the new guys have more time than you!
Silly Rabbit...
I stopped logging time when I was hired by the airline I retired from.
7328 is what's reflected in my logbook.
If you want an educated guestimation, It would probably be around 23,000/24,000TT...give or take.
I could total it up if I had to/wanted to...but never had to/wanted to...
Especially not for some whipper snapper on Flight Info!
Yea some 11,000 hour rookie.
So did you fly the 747 or did you stay at a holiday inn express last night![]()
If you're referring to my avatar it is in response to an AWA pilots claim to flying the 74 (one of theirs in my avatar) (complete failure as a program) and therefore they are more experienced than the US guys which I think we can all agree is a joke.
