Why don't you take here to Six Pence. ;)

I've been trashed in there WAY to many times to take my wife within 5 miles of that bar! I think theres a WANTED poster in there with my mug shot on it!

Stop being cheap charlie pilot. Lay on the beach and enjoy the cabana on a very exclusive little resort. Its your 10 year. Time to burn some cash.

Of course I'd also recomend croatia.

Wolf - are you planning on taking the kids? Thats going to be a major factor in your choice.

Go to Syros in the Greek Islands. Its amazing, inexpensive, and less touristy than Mikanos, et al. Rent a moped for the week and drive around the Island to all the secluded beaches. Watch out for unlit streets that have unmarked stairways...ask me how I know.

Hey Oz I'm a DINK so I don't think in terms of kids.

Wolf...pack up and take the kids up to Auburn, Maine and stay at the Pine Tree motor lodge right next to greelys garage. Taylor Pond is nearby and then you can visit the Auburn Mall and you can make a scenic visit to Twitchells airport as well....the wife and kids will REALLY fall in love with this little place and this is just the place that will teach you how to talk like a real mainer and how important flannel shirts truly are! Enjoy the best ever seafood at "Red Lobster" and some great home cooking from Roys Hamburger steak house and dont forget the delicious Italian food at Amatos. And get a good italian at Sam's too. You will find a great breakfast waiting for you at The Big Apple in the mornings. There is also some great blue berry picking nearby as well. And if yah get a little worn out with the family thing, you can always take a quick 30 minute drive to Portland and head on in to Marks showplace.....conveniently located off the old exit 8. Dude, it just doesnt get much better than any of this. While your in Maine, drop your name in the hat for the moose lottery.....you might be one of the lucky 900 winners to come back and bag yourself a maine moose. Tasty they are. Ayuh! Oh and most importantly, dont forget to "say hello to my little somalian friends!" (repeat in Al Pacino accent)

I thought the Pine Tree motor inn was still around. Whats right next to greelys??? OK, platinum plus............and for more exotic adventure, the golden banana north side of BOS. Tell me thats still around, right?

jesus it really has been a long time.

The golden banana is closed

The only thing open on US1 is the cabaret on the other side.

Screw it, just go to Hawaii. She'll be happy, and send her off to the Mai Tai bar at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel (the Pink one) for Mai Tai's. I just got back Monday. They are doing lots of cool stuff (in Waikiki) and new buildings on Ohau.

You can be like me and hide under the pink & white umbrillas, checking out the "other" beach activities.

If you're going to ride that dang long on an airliner, might as well be worth it!

Go before school get's out of possible.

Or Ibeza, Spain.....
BTW they won't care if she is Irish...

Hawaii is the most overplayed vacationspot.

Might as well take her to Jamaica. They are about the same.

Its your 10 year. Make it interesting.

Remember to buy the gas with cash, at a store that doesn't have a video camera.

Jamica is a hell hole compared to Hawaii. Wolf don't listen to Diesel, I don't know why his wife hangs out with him.

Kauai stay in Hanalei or Princeville. Awesome place.

Cabo, Paradise Island in the Bahamas or what about Sedona, AZ? Seriously, try the Enchanment Resort in Sedona (check out its website) - a bit pricey but the price will come down as the temp continues to rise. Great restaurants and spas in Sedona.

My wife hangs out with me because I take her to cool interesting places that aren't tourist traps.

Hawaii is the Jamaica of the west coast.

Common wolfy I know you can do better. How about tahiti? Whip out that big g pay and throw some cash down. :)

You wanted ideas WPP

and you mentioned Sydney. If you're considering going 'down under', how about a trip to Hayman Island Resort? You'll land at Hamilton, then yacht over to the resort. If you can plan it right, the yacht trip at sunset will set the tone for the whole visit. A boss I flew many moons ago invited the crew to join he and his wife there for a few days. Take a look at the website. It's all that and more - definitely a special destination.

French Polynesia www.letahaa.com .

If that doesn't work out for you, see if the Grantmoor Motor Lodge is still open in Newington, CT. You'll need to book well in advance if you want to reserve the Tarzan Room. There's a Staples and Roy Rogers located within walking distance.

Good luck!

Jamaica is a hole dude. I mean, Negril might be nice but when we were there I cant even remember how many security checkpoints we had to pass through to stay at our hotel. But I would say Tahiti and some of those islands would be the place to go!

And hey, dont forget about the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn Maine seeing that the Pine Tree Motor Lodge is no longer around.
