so have I.

are you saying you know what is best for me more than I do? you seem to think you know a lot about me. guess how many fingers I'm holding up?

now guess which one?

This is one of the idiots who drank the koolaid. He must think Delta pays skywest the same to operate a 700 and a 100-200.

Delta pays MORE because their are MORE seats. What a concept!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh excuse me while I puke! Over 1000 Delta pilots and many more flight attendants lost their jobs while they were handed to Comair. Comair took over $1 billion of new and larger RJs! They faught hard to take that flying, they could not give a $hit what that meant to us! We have pilots that are still out of a job 5 years later. Comair also filed a huge lawsuit to try to grab more of Delta mainline flying, and faught to keep the furloughed Delta pilots from coming over there. I do not have any sympathy for these group of people. When they are able to rape you, they will do it gladly and say it's not their fault! When they are losing jets, jobs and flying, they are a bunch of whinners! Enjoy unemployment! You all deserve it!

What an idiot. lol. WE TRIED TO COMBINE OUR LIST WITH DELTA PER ALPA POLICY!!AND WE WERE TOLD TO POUND SAND. NONE OF THE FULOUGHS WOULD OF HAPPENEED IF YOU GUYS WERE NOT SO SELF SERVING.
WE AGREED THEY SHOULD HAVE PREFERENTIAL INTERVIEWS!!! YOU JUST WANTED TO WALK IN LIKE YOU BELONGED HERE. WE WERE NEVER OFFERED JOBS AT DELTA JUST BECAUSE. WHAT A BUNCH OF SELF SERVING IDIOTS.

Thats all I got to say about that

Comair is in BANKRUPTCY COURT! The COURT has taken away their rights. That can be appealed. There is a legal process. And as far as I know, Comair ALPA has no influence over Delta management. ALPA can't make Delta management's decisions. Do you know something I don't?

When I said "I just don't get it." I meant your intense ideology.

FedEx is gravy, huh? What induces FedEx management to pay top wages? Benevolence?

As far as my point about UAL: YOU asked how ALPA helped UAL. I explained the situation (Massive terrorist attack, world-wide economic downturn... remember?). ALPA had no leverage since UAL filed Ch 11. You want to know how ALPA remedied the situation?! What the fck do you think ALPA, or SAPA, or anybody else could do for those pilots? So to make my point, I suggested SAPA could do no better.

I feel like I'm being condescending having to explain my points to you like this. It's not because I WANT to explain things to you like you're a child. It's because I feel like I HAVE to.
Hey thanks for your help. You summed it up..."what the fck do you think alpa, or SAPA or anybody else could do for those pilots?" alpa can't do anything anyway, so why keep paying 2% for nothing?
ps- other "FEELINGS" you have, go tell a doctor, I don't really care......

I think skynation epitomizes the problem with this industry. Who cares what he's costing everybody else just so he can get his "QOL." It all comes back to Skywest.

Are you really as dumb as you sound? Let me guess...if SkyWest was ALPA none of this would be happening.

Sure did. I liked the fact that a union wasn't necessary. But relations went downhill fast after the "deal Capt. Holt an ace" BS. I was here then. Were you?

Were you aware that ALPA was voted down by less than 50 votes in 2000? Were you aware that UPA failed narrowly in 2005 despite a shoestring budget against the deep pockets of Skywest Inc?

Not every airline needs a union. Had SW continued to act ethically, this wouldn't be an issue.

You know if you had worked for an ALPA carrier before coming to SkyWest you wouldn't be complaining. ALPA will do no good for SkyWest. Just look at all the other regionals that have ALPA...they're doing so great, what a help they are.
I'll invest 2% more in my 401K for a while rather than give it to ALPA and see who comes out on top.

You mean like coex, comair, airwis? There are pilots making more money than us at companies that are not doing as well. That is a direct result of unions. As long as we continue to put our earnings potential in the hands of management, we will always be underpaid.

I was with Teamsters at my last airline. It sucked. But I'm not so simple-minded to blame the union for all of the airlines problems.

SAPA has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that they are incapable of getting us fair compensation for the 70 and 90 seat jets. It's time to negotiate with leverage. ALPA has the resources to help us smoothly transition into a united workforce.

I will tell you why you people at Skywest need a union. YOU ARE MAKING 19 PER HOUR TO FLY A JET THE SIZE OF A DC9!!!!!!!!! Your company is making MILLIONS. They gave you a whopping 20 cent raise so now it is 19.25 per hour?

Alpa carriers have had some rough times but I believe you will see a chance in 2007, starting with Pinnacle's Contract. I am so impressed with the way our union has handled NWA's Bankruptcy and now we have them where we want them
