Where's the money DB?? Love the name! DB you get me a job on that shiny new 737 you are flying and I promise I will get you a job on the 727, without a doubt!

You at Miami Air??

Nope, not Miami Air. However I do have a friend there who just finished class on the 737-800.

You know I can't tell you where I am, people are still looking for me....and the money!!

Cheers.

I have to agree with asarjfo. If you are still on reserve after four years you did it to yourself. We have so many complainers here you can't believe. The pilots here complaining about scheduals and reserve for years and such, are the ones who bid for a position they really could not hold. I hear it in the lounge all the time. "I should be able to hold 700 capt next month" when I enquire as to their seniority and it's around 1100 or so I just turn around and laugh. I've benn here about 10 years and am around 200-300 on list. When I ask myself where I would be on the 700 and the answer is 60 or there about and there are only 59 lines it's a pretty good bet that My qol will suffer if I go over to the position.

There are reasons why more senior pilot didn't bid into a position and the guys in the 900 seniority got those positions. As we get more 700's and the lines increase I will take my position in front of you on the list and my qol will go up and yours will go down again and again.

Bid what you can hold and be sure you want what you bid. If you did it to yourself don't complain about your crappy life to everybody.
