student pilot here (usaf)... 32K with a few investments here and there

Now, by investments I hope that you are referencing many nights(investing time) in Acuna drinking much beer(investing money). Or, maybe you are one of the lucky ones who requested UPT in Columbus, MS so you could have a chance at landing a nice southern belle, rather than hanging out in the Corona Club in Acuna? Either way it's all good brother...enjoy UPT...funnest year of my life...

Lets go to 410..........................zddzadzzdzdzdzdzzdzddzzdddzdzdzdzdzdzdzdzdzdzzdzzdddzdzzdzdzdzdzd....you want me to ask for lower? Welcome to the world of SWA retards.......

9 year SWA Capt. 12-14 days of work per month- picked up a few days along the way, opted for "max pay" for training events (train on days off) , and $9700 cash for options exercised- line 1 = $227,580. From this you would have to subtract $15,500 for 410(k). BTW, total 410(k) contribution for the year would be $31,000. Profit sharing is about $18,000 (7.9%) and that goes into a qualified retirement plan (same as 401(k)) basically. There's a few ARISA limits that I can't remember right now but somewhere around $49K should go towards retirement. (something tells me that that amount probably exceeds the previously mentioned ARISA limit) With age 65 becoming a reality, only 28 years to go- whew!

29.88 x 76 x 12 =27,250 cal 777 reserve fo approx 30 hour a month flying.. profit sharing 2,152 gota luv the legacy carriers. screwing its pilots. just think stagnatin for another 5 five years because of the old farts staying. 200 of 250 are staying so they can continue to screw us again 83-85 hires what a bunch of pricks

I doubled that at JB, WOW! And to think I did it on year 2 (10 months) and year 3 (2 months) pay.

That is because you are in DC your housing rate would be a lot different it you were based in lets say....north dakota.... So you
would be making a lot less than 140,500....

I agree that 2500 a month is not a common BHA (basic allowance for quarters to the uninitiated). When I got out mine was 1000 a month. So you (C-40 dude) are making 18k more a year based on a high BAH rate.

For the record it took me until year 3 pay at WN to make what my contemporaries (on the 25K a year bonus) made.

As an aside the 25K a year bonus does not last forever, at least in the Navy. It actually goes down once they know they got you for 20.
