Mesa bashes PNCL

You never know who you are around... I was non rev'ing with my family and we just happened to be discussing the CRJ, mind you I wasn't in uniform, when a Mesa capt in uniform jumped into our conversation UNSOLICATED..... He goes on to state that PNCL is undeserving of any CRJ's and we begin to get into a disagrement over whether PNCL had 50 seaters or not... He insisted PNCL did not have 50 seaters and the only reason they had 44 was they whored themselves out on pay...
And then he goes on how DC 9 FO's hate all red tail RJ' drivers... XJ included

I just thought it was interesting all the negative red tail comments from a Mesa driver... :puke:

What can you say about Mesa...had a mesa pilot comment on me being too hard on the brakes today

Well, were you on the brakes too hard? I see it all the time in the RJ. Drives me nuts!

Anais Nin,

I'm with you here. I was thinking the same thing. I've always though Tex Aviator was a dork from his posts and such. I don't know why, just have. He always has some "highlight" remark about jetlinkin it and i just have a funny feeling he is a nerd. Granted, I do feel he works for a fine company.

TA you said in your post your crew was the only other crew in the van and that "someone asked what are the pay rates for the 900 like." But i can only assume it was you or your crew that asked about pay rates to the Mesa crew after a long day.

Saying the 900 is huge by the Mesa guy might have been the most crafty thing to say. But your the guy that has to post EMB-145XR and Gold Seal on your profile and post yippy Expressjet articles when your right out of training, and frankly, nobody really cares your in an XR or that your Gold Seal. You could be furloughed and out of a job tomorrow and working along side that same Mesa crew 3 months later. Toolbox

wow -- this guy burned your butt!

what about the 135, the 145... why just the XR -- I thought you guys flew all the models of that toilet tube...

Relic.. no one said you were inferior..

Maybe they dont talk to you because your contract ruined our negotiations in our last contract... or maybe because your company is flying flights while comair is downsizing.

And most of that is because you failed to take a stand... you failed to stand up for yourselves and everyone else in this industry. If it was me, I wouldnt be able to hold my head off my shoulders!

Yeah,

Yeah that's right, jump on the bandwagon! Oh, I think you had "Gold Seal" in your profile too. What did you change it before you posted dickcheese? :angryfire

I only fly the XR, I'm just badass like that.:erm:

TA, you are a serious embarrassment to yourself and the fine folks at Expressjet. You don't know when to shut up.

Dude you are so COOL!!

I hope I can be as cool as you some day......A$$CLOWN!

I hope so too.

The subject should remain on course. Look at airlinepilotcentral.com and Mesa. How f'ing pathetic and not even profit sharing. I guess that all goes to Orstein along with pride, balls, motorcyles, etc.

There may be a lot of really good guys at Mesa, but no a lot of smart ones.

And you know this how? What a doof. This has to take the cake for the "Moronic Flamebait Post of the Day." You feel better now? Do you have something intelligent to add to the thread?

And you took the time to respond to it. Point! And by the way, it's more than Flamebait; the sad part is, it be the truth.

I jumpseat on Mesa often, and have nothing but good things to say about the crews. They are always accommodating and look like they are having a good time. The flight attendants are young, but they are the only flirtatious ones I've seen in a while (maybe they're just that desperate). I occasionally BBQ with a Mesa CA (neighbor) and when we talk flying, it seems like he has a job just like the rest of us, except he's not worried about being furloughed.

Again the point is their idiots. They be having a good time, but either they are total aviation dorks with little life outside of flying, they are moronic for not getting paid properly, or they are living in fantasy land convincing themselves that life is grand under JO's watch. They also may be good guys, but if he's not worried about being furloughed, I hope he doesn't carry that idea with pride. They are many other pilots that have been underbid by Mesa, partly due to inferior contract conditions. $1.20 hour per diem. F that. 2.5% 401K match. F that. 8 days off reserve. F that. 190 rates. You get the picture.

http://www.airlinepilotcentral.com/content/view/74/18/

And with those 190 rates and contract conditions, not is Mesa severly undercutting the so called "regionals", but also the legacy and large national carriers.

He’ll probably see the light once he moves on. He’s in the hiring pool at a major freight company now. That could be why he doesn't talk bad about it, he knows it's behind him.

I don't see why so many people think all Mesa pilots are tools. Only 78% of the non-probationary May 2003 pilot group and everyone hired thereafter are tools. Oh yeah, and Duane Worthless for signing the POS that has caused the destruction of the pilot profession as we know it!
